That £23,000 report is complete and utter rubbish, the writer of that wouldn’t have a clue about the amount. It’s nowhere near that.

 

I would have assumed that Villa would know that the max he would be on would be £4k, their average weekly is about £1700 apparently. They would surely be aware they would not have to offer that much to bring him in. I would imagine somewhere between £10-15k. If his agent as got him £23k then fair play to him, but yeah probably horse *.

 

Still think Villa are in the driving seat here unfortunately.

Lennon is doing what any decent manager should be doing - getting the best fee possible for a player who is free to leave in a few months time.

I think Hibs have never had any intention of selling him to us and we have been wasting our time instead of identifying and bringing in players. BR has been saying he needs to bring in quality players to improve the quality of the first team and not for the bench. McGinn doesn't fit that category he would have started games against the likes of Motherwell or St Johnstone and been a bench warmer for most of the season like Kouassi or Hayes

 

This transfer has run as long as Corrie ffs,farcical now.
