  2. so he would have got into the team ahead of Ntcham, Brown and McGregor?

  3. I still hope Celtic haven't let this one go and are still trying to get it done.

  4. as I said to you the other day thumb I didn't expect any CB in unless 1 or 2 went

  5. according to Sky Hibs will not sell to celtic at any price and McGinn prefers move down south - take that for what it is worth

Just like you, I don’t know. Only Brendan knows that.

  7. I would bet you he would have been 4th choice CM

  8. I didn't realise - that's a shame.

I don’t care what you’d bet me, unless he signs and we find out, then we’ll never know.

I'm bored of talking about John McGinn, bring Bojan home!

  11. Blessing in disguise for Kouassi. Hope is given a chance now. Said it before and I'm sticking with it, he can be a much better player than Mcginn.

  12. * knows but he was good enough in Scotland. The point isn’t even about Fletcher itself, it’s about Lawwell and how he gambles with Celtic’s success.

Do you think that signing only Willo Flood was succesfully backing Gordon Strachan? When he had easily identified players there? This situation is very similar.

I think Fletcher would have brought the best out if Scott McDonald if we’re concentrating on him, at the very least it would have allowed JVoH a rest and a challenge and provided a wee injection to the squad.

But the most important thing is Gordon Strachan thought he would have improved the squad, Lawwell disagreed and * him over and we lost the league. It’s why Lawwell said January 2009 would be going on his gravestone.

  14. Aye people said the same things aboyt Broony.

I just hope McGinn knocks them back, can’t see it but he’ll be getting offered a fortune and by this point he’ll know that Celtic undervalue him.

I think he’d get at least 20 games for us if he signed, which wouldn’t make him a benchwarmer.

I’m resigned to us not getting him, which is a shame considering how highly Brendan, Lennon, JC Anton and Brown seem to rate him.

Not gonna lie I'm slightly annoyed if we miss out on him.

I think he would be a really valuable player for us even as part of the squad to begin with. Too often when Brown is out the side we miss the energy and tenacity a player like him gives.

In a couple years we would have been really glad to have had him in IMO. £3m or not.

    * *. Keep your pants on, son.

  19. He’s the exact type of player I want for us in Europe, we need more backbone about the squad there.

As it is, Lawwell’s gamble hasn’t really paid off here again if he does go down there. It * me off, why do we always just want to * about?

  20. I think in a few years I’m going to be as angry about this as I am about James McCarthy.
