Insane because you think we would be sending a better player to Hibs than what we would receive in return? Or because it's Hibs he (Kouassi) would be plying his trade?

I haven't seen enough of the two of them to pick the better player tbh, but I don't think it's an awful idea him staying in Scottish football. Ajer would of been 18-19 with over 60 pro games at a decent level when he went out to Killie, done him wonders!

Kouassi is 20-21 this year and has a quarter of the match experience that Ajer has, Ajer probably played more pro football at 16 than what Kouassi has in his career thus far.

He needs game time this season, links to league 1 and Nice are, well, nice.. but he needs game time, at least it would be guaranteed at a Hibs. And, after all, it is the level we play at..

 

The difference with Kouassi and Ajer, although both need/ed game time, was that Ajer was specifically being sent to a club who were complying in Brendan's wishes to transform him from a midfielder, to a centre half..

I don't think many other club's would've agreed to that 'gamble' at the time..

Kouassi doesn't need transformed or to learn a new position. He just simply needs game time..

All about opions mate. Too many people watching McGinn in games & not seeing what McGeouch done last season for Hibs, he was their best player. I'm not saying McGeouch is good enough for us but he was their best player last season. McGinn may come here & be outstanding for us. I would say McGinn is the better player out them both but not at Hibs last season.

What happened to Ajer has less than nothing to do with Kouassi. Celtic are a club ran well and by people who know what they’re doing. They will realise that loaning out a guy who cost us £3M as part of a deal for John McGinn would be ludicrous business because it just doesn’t represent value for us in any way, shape or form.
