That is your opinion mate but not the opinion of Hibs. You can check that on their website.

It was brought up by me because McGeouch was in the same position that McGinn is in this year. Somebody said Hibs wouldn't let McGinn run his contract down, McGeouch done it.

If there’s any truth in the rumour we will be sending a loanee, wouldn’t be against Micky Johnston going to get regular game time..

I want Kouassi there if he’s not going to get gametime here, can’t think of anybody better than Neil Lennon to trust developing a Celtic midfielder.

Aye he's clearly talented but some are getting ahead of themselves wanting him sighting for a place with us this season. We'll sign a winger and if it's between him and Morgan getting the odd start the manager will go with Morgan.

Hibs under Lenny would be a class move for him.

Kouassi is our Scott Brown backup, and has shown he's good enough for Europe.

More chance of him getting competitive games than Johnston imo

I'd like to see Kouassi stay but at the same time a full season playing 40 odd games at Hibs under Lennon would do him the world of good. Hed return a better player and it would be a year further down the line in terms of Brown as well.

I really hope we persist with him either way. Think a loan would benefit at this stage and could be used in this deal.

The thing with loaning him there is is there much benefit for his progression?

Club's around the top league's in France, Germany etc have reportedly been interested. Nice was 1..

He could go to a good side now..

Hibs no disrespect is a step down for him at this moment in time..

He really should be in amongst the first team now. Another season of getting no game time and it's starting to look a weird signing..

We'll have to agree to disagree on that. I watched McGinn in all.his games against us and he was an absolute standout in their line up

Think Lenny done wonders with our midfield and there progression while he was here, don’t see how it would be much different.

    Euro rules
John McGinn to Celtic: Will Hibs ace be cup tied if he plays in Europa League for Neil Lennon’s side?
Brendan Rodgers is looking to add the Scotland international to his squad.. but can he play in Europe if the Hibees agree to sell?

JOHN McGINN has been the subject of TWO failed bids from Celtic as they up their pursuit for the Hibs star.
Brendan Rodgers is looking to add the Scotland international – out of contract at the end of the season – to his Parkhead squad.

And the Hoops Gaffer has refused to rule out a third bid for the midfielder after his latest bid believed to be around £2million knocked back.

We told how Neil Lennon’s Hibee's are holding out for £3.5m.

McGinn was left out of the club's first leg Europa League win against NSI Runavik.

Can John McGinn play for both Hibs and Celtic in Europe?
In short, it all depends on how both teams do in the qualifying phase.

If McGinn plays for Hibs in the second leg against NSI Runavik, he WON’T be able to play any part of Celtic’s qualification process whether that be in the Champions League or the Europa League.

But he will be able to pull on the Hoops in the group stage of either competition – even if Hibs make the groups.

Celtic could end up in the Europa League qualifiers should they fall short in the Champions League qualification process.

You’ve literally just described McGinn last season.

McGeouch was the players player of the year and the player of the year and by no yard stick was McGinn better than him last season.

That’s not to say he’s not a better player or has more potential because for me he is/has.

It isn't Lenny per-se....just more a case I feel Kouassi is a level above a Hibs now in my opinion and if he's no playing here (which I think he should be at time's), then he should be playing in more competitive league's. Preferably for someone in the Europa, where he's already played for Krasnodar..

I'm also basing that on the probability that Hibs won't make the group's..
