McGinn will probably be looking to give something back to his club Hibs, I doubt he would let his contract run down and leave for free. Hibs will sell him this window IMO.

McGeoch just done exactly as you said. What is the difference between these 2 players?

Well they lost McGeough for nothing , I can't see them doing it again especially as their main player..He will be sold he's not even been in the right mind to play Lennon said.

McGinn’s worth a lot more money than McGeouch mainly.

TBH mate McGeoch was hibs best player last season, not McGinn. I'm sure HIbs also had offers for him last season aswell.

the smart players these days dont allow them selves to be sold, they let their contracts run down and they go where they please

in reality he doesnt owe hibs anything, hes a employee hibs have had their value and he has provided his services for a wage, plenty have left celtic in similar circumstances and came to us in similar circumstances aswell as other clubs all over the world

its not like it was when players were virtually slave assetts and had no say or control over the events of them being sold

in saying this the players do get a portion of the transfer fee which could be a sizeable amount but then that could be given as part of a signing on fee

He said: “Between Neil (Lennon) and I, it’s out of our hands.

“It’s with the clubs. Hopefully for everyone’s sake it can be resolved, but it’s above me.

“I’d always have liked to have more in by now but the most important thing was ensuring we kept the players we wanted to stay. The likes of Tom Rogic and these guys.

“Absolutely for sure we need to strengthen, and that will come. It’s only in certain specific areas, it’s not a total overhaul.

“We’ve been building, developing and growing for the last few years and this will hopefully be another year to do that.

“If we can bring in another number of players that will improve our squad, that will be nice.”

Latest what BR has mentioned to the media regarding McGinn and other targets.

Aye and Stefan Johansen won POTY when we had Van Dijk mate, Van Dijk was still worth a lot more than him.

    Here the whole time
You're right about the consistency thing but in order to string performances together surely that means playing on a regular basis and not, like I said, being rotated for the sake of rotating.

If we've already laid out an initial 6.5m on edouard, then go and spend 4m on Mcginn I believe that will be the brunt of this summer's budget. I cant see us spending much more than 10-12m in a single window regardless of what has been received in fees for outgoing players.

For me, that means if we do strengthen in defence we will be looking at cut price deals/loans. If we're simply looking at replacing armstrong, who was essentially a bit part player last season, then we should be doing this the other way round. Laying out for quality in defence and going economic or young prospects on loan for back up to what is, probably, already the strongest area of our squad.

Totally disagree. McGinn was easily the best player in the SPFL out with our own players last year. McGeouch was good but occasionally inconsistent particularly against the bigger teams.

McGeouch was far more consistent than McGinn last season.

McGinn was all over Broony at easter road like a rash got the better of him that day with his energy, scored 2 against us at CP too and a couple against the huns.Brown said he was his toughest competitor.

He and McGeouch are entirely different players either way who complimented each other well for Hibs.

Don't see why it is continually brought up.

McGinn to us with Kouassi going to hibs. Kouassi will outshine him and then they will swap again next summer.

Kouassi and even Ntcham at times can be slow and laboured , not seen anyone with the same drive and determination as McGinn since Broony just my opinion.
