    Such a shame. I actually saw him play for Norwich a couple of times when he was on loan and he really did have something special, even when he wasn't 100% fit. I wonder what he will go on to do now?

    i really hope celtic look after him,if he wants put him through his badges or give him sumthing behind the scenes if he would be happy with that,just imagine what a fully fit jk would to for defence right now

    Yeah indeed mate and it's no wonder Scotland (as well as many other nations) suffer pull outs.. can't say i blame them half the time.. sad sad day when a career ends in what was meant as a friendly match.

    He looked like he could have been a great defender for us.

    Sad to hear that he's had to retire at such a young age.

    I'd assume he did studies ect while trying to recover?..anyone know what he did? I would guess something in football may be to hard for him but I'd like to see him do some kind of youth development because imo he has some amount of resilience/intelligence and determination all traits that are perfect for a job moulding youngsters..
