Daryl Murphy is current TOP goalscorer in the English Championship. I have to laugh when people state he's NOT good enough for us. Would John Guidetti score more than 17 goals in this leaguie? Gary Hooper know were near Murphy's goals per game. We donb't have to break the bank for someone to score 25+ goals in a poor Scottish Premier League

Have to say I agree. Daryl Murphy would rip up the SPL.

I concor. We simply cant afford these wages anymore.

Look on the Brightside, Man City can sell him next month and we'd get a percentage of the fee.

That could fund the Ciftci transfer.

I disagree on the wages argumnet, we turnover at least 60 million every season not accounting for champions league money, so we can absolutely afford to pay these wages for a player who i believe can fire us into the big cup, in effect paying for itself. I rate Ciftci but signing him would still be a gamble. John is the real deal and i hope ta * he signs on.

Can't believe what I'm reading here.

We shouldn't give Guidetti a deal because we play in Scotland and so he doesn't justify the wage. Why don't we just punt Brown and replace him with Keith Lasely while we're at it. * *.

Not that he doesn't justify the wage, but the state of the Scottish game every pennies a prisoner.

Can we get Ciftci for cheaper - Yes. Can he score - Yes.

Is he about four levels below Guidetti? Yes.

Do you actually want to see us get worse?

Edit: glad to see you on the same side as me for once og, let's keep it that way :icon_mrgreen:

Form is temporary class is forever. Dont get me wrong i rate Cifti but i would rather Gudetti. You might not realise it but you are condoning the weakening of our side for the sake of our bottom line. I think Gudetti is potential champions league class, granted he is unproven but i think he is good enough. A must sign in my opinion.

There is NO way we should be paying anyone near 30k a week in our league. We are NEVER going to do anything in Europe. A half decent player will score u 25+ goals in our domestic league. My example of Daryl Murphy is a good one. Someone like him would score u plenty of goals in our poor league. Even Barry Rooney scores goals in our league but struggled in English League 1 last season.
