    I can already imagine the scene..

    6:00 Guidetti is in Lawwell's office...

    'phone rings'

    ' can you just hold on for a second John, i've gotta take this..

    'leaves room'

    'goes to the airport, picks up Scepovic for an awkward card ride to celtic park..

    'sneaks into fax machine room with Scepovic and smashes them up with a baseball bat

    '11:55 Lawwell awkwardly enters his office and tells Guidetti to cancel his contract with city and we'll sign him, he gives him his word. '



    Tomorrow Guidetti tries to contact celtic but we don't pick up the phone.

    No chance it's because of paperwork. Scepovic was a tougher deal to complete and more intricate and we finalised that. Guidetti already lives in this country (no visa issues), City were willing to let him go on loan and I imagine he was ok with coming. Taken for mugs. Soured my mood. I don't even want to sound like a greetin' faced wee * but we've had a * few weeks and needed strikers in before now and cocke it all up. Left with a guy who doesn't want to be here and two baldy * that look lethargic an disinterested.

    Aye can someone move this back to transfer rumours till tomorrow or whenever we receive some really reliable news on this (e.g. Lawell saying he changed his mind after hearing the cafeteria no longer sold Irn-Bru and pancakes)

    Why did they have to tease us with this?

    They could have just * signed Scepovic and wrapped it up for the day, but nah, they have to give us all erections at the thought of signing TWO strikers on deadline day and then ultimately let us down with one of them.

    Paperwork issue could be in the hands of the football associations. Personally I think we're at fault (oh the irony) but could this be a case of the authorities * up and us paying the price (via an honest mistake or an 'honest mistake').

    If so is there any way around it?

    OK. If City were willing to loan him until the end of the season and run down his contract then they will have absolutely no problem at all terminating his contract as it is the exact same thing from their view. He leaves on loan and never comes back or he leaves properly and never comes back . Should be very straight forward if the only obstacle is city terminating his contract . If Celtic genuinely want him then he should be a celtic player tomorrow. However i reckon the boy wants a good wage and Lawwell has essentially * him and us about cooked up a few excuses for the press, when he should just come out and admit that he is a tight * who wants a big * bonus and more dividends for his taskmaster desmond.
