I don't think it was the case of us being too late with paperwork to all those continually posting it. We had 6 hours to get it finalised lets be serious.

If this is finished completely then it is entirely down to us pulling out I hate to say, I am once again pure ragin.:56:

At 6pm I was angry at the lack of activity. By 12 I was so happy...delighted. Now I'm going to bed gutted....probably won't sleep.....so many questions....will the loan come through tomorrow? ..... Will he sign a permanent deal with us?.... Will he go elsewhere?........

Wish I went to bed an hour and a half ago. Hoping for good news tomorrow. :shamrock:

Would be a laugh if his deal was terminated and we did sign him. Then if he never cut it we could probably sell him ourselves and make money off him.

Not if he's refusing to sign a contract. As it stands he can either leave for free now and, if voluntarily, possibly at a reduced cost to City than paying wages; or leave for free next season while City keep him on the books and pay his wages in full. Theoretically it could cost more to keep him on.

If he is wanting out and refusing to sign a contract then I think there's a reasonable chance they'd release him if it'll cost them less.

That's of course if no-one else comes in for him with a cash or loan offer who still have an open transfer window, which is unlikely given how highly rated he is. If he's a free agent there's also more chance of him picking someone else over us.

FFs Padmill man......get with the programme. Have you not heard? We had the deal in hand, he turned us down waiting for another offer, then he did a u turn, paperwork got lost, they found it again but it was too late, they asked for an extension but that was denied so now Celtic are appealing to the Vatican for special prayer and the unseen Phenians hand is moving through the Shadows at UEFA to overturn the transfer window deadline.

We probably had the scarf and the hoops on him then Pete gets the phonecall at 10.15- then he gets the chloroform out stashes John in a cupboard. Wakes him up at half twelve " oh dear son, you had a wee dizzy spell, that's you failed your medical, on yer way now.."

They deleted the story on the transfer falling through and re-posted that he had signed

Edit: now it seems they have re posted the paperwork didn't go through story

It seems like know one is certain if he has signed, even in that story they say it "appears his paperwork might have been late"
