    Yup :50: Think its this belief that all that is foreign is wonderful....Charlie Mulgrew makes a misplaced pass and is a total *...Johansen could have put us through in the CL when clean through but fell over the tongue in his football boots but was unlucky.

    P.s I'm not claiming Charlie is the answer :56: but least he chips in with a goal now and then.

    He was brought to celtic as a playmaker who can dictate the tempo of a game, surely this is not the same player? He gives away possession far to much in games to be even considered a 'passing' player and Ive only seen him boss the midfield in a handful of games since he has been here. I hope that Ronny Delia is not just playing him as he knows him the best because that just isnt good enough.

    No, because he is being asked to do a completely different role under Deila than he was with Lennon.

    I thought with Deila coming here it would push him even further on and we would see him continue to grow as a player. It's went the complete other way, he looked a better player with Lennon rather than with his supposed mentor.

    Great point, but what has changed in his role since then and what personnel has changed round about him?

    Isn't a midfielder a midfielder or is that too simplistic? Was the team playing better last season and he went under the radar?

    he was brought to celtic as a playmaker and was a playmaker at Strømsgodset under Delia so if anyone knows his best qualities and position it would be him. If he is being played out of position and performing poorly because of this then that is Delia's call. I really liked the look of him last season but would rather have kayal in the holding role.
