I'm happy with that TBH. What's the point of giving Lennon the job then appointing somebody(needless wate of money) to tell him what to do when he can just as easilly lif tthe phone and ask O'Neill for advice, or have a chat with Billy McNeill when he's at Celtic Park?

I think this is embarrassing in all honesty. I never thought a would see the day celtic was managed by 3 ex players with no managerial experience and about 6 months coaching between them. You wouldnt even see this in the 3rd division.

It's either very brave or very stupid, but the one thing it is for the board is very cheap & quite populist with the fans.

This one is a massive gamble, obviously I hope it comes off - but with Rangers going for 3IAR I'd rather not gamble as much as this.

I know any new manager is a gamble - but none of these guys have any real managerial experience to speak of & we've now sacked Willie McStay who does & has been at the club longer than all of them.

PS. who the * is this Garry Parker guy, with all the Premiership experience at Villa & Leicester? I cannot for the life of me remember who the * this guy is.

Mjallby Reveals New "Balls-out" Training Approach

The BBC said:

And joining 35-year-old Dutch midfielder Boateng at Celtic's training complex this week is Montenegran attacking midfielder Slovan Stjepanovic, 22.
"George Boateng has only been here a day and there has been a lot of running," explained Mjallby. "Hopefully he can stay on for a couple of days and we can have a look at him playing football as well.
"Slaven has been training for a few days with us. For all the players the first few days has been just running and not too much football.
"We have started to get the balls out now and it's a better chance for us to have a look at them."

lol.. its not new. its fitness training... best way to get fit is to run...

every team does it, my pre-season training would start with a 5mile run when i was playing..
