hope he gets a hair cut now he's here the mohawk thing he's rocking really doesn't suit him.
But great move by Lennon got a lot of respect for that and Love big Johan even more. Glad he didn't go for a old experienced manager , like Shearer did at Newcastle with Dowie as that just sets up for an Ego Clash. They look so natural there, this could be the start of something you know ;). would like to keep them all connected with Celtic, whoever the manager is next season.

He was probably thinking "if he can't give me an answer in 1 minute, then he doesn't have the type of mentality I want to establish in this team"

    Its Paer talk

Lennon giving an ultimatum to Johan- I see this a s a twist on the situation.
IE Johan only needed 1 minute to say yes and this is because-

    1. His burd had just chucked hi out!
    2. He was on the buroo in Sweden.
    3. He was actUAlly going to his first shift at Maccy 'd' s in Stockholm and not for a haircut!

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:56:

    Mjallby: Inexperience could cost us

Johan Mjallby fears inexperience could see Neil Lennon and himself losing out on being appointed the management team on a permanent basis at Celtic.
After Tony Mowbray was sacked in March following a 4-0 defeat at St Mirren, Lennon was promoted from boss of the reserves and immediately recruited his former Hoops team mate as his assistant to guide the Parkhead side through to the end of the current campaign.
An Active Nation Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Irn-Bru First Division side Ross County at Hampden soon afterwards appeared to have scuppered their hopes of being retained for next season.
However, the Hoops players have finished the season strongly and victory over Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday would see them finish the season with eight Clydesdale Bank Premier League wins in a row.
Speaking at Celtic Park where he was unveiling a Braille plaque for blind supporters, Mjallby was asked if inexperience may go against him and Lennon when it comes to the Parkhead board making their decision.
"I would say yes, because if you finish with eight straight wins and you can see team is working a wee bit harder for each other and doing better than before we came in, you have to say that inexperience is the only thing that should cost us the job," he replied.
"I would be disappointed but we understand that there is always going to be cries for more experience and we haven't got it.
"We still have to live with the disappointment of losing to Ross County, it still hurts.
"But we have done our best and if we can end with eight straight wins I will be happy anyway.
"The confidence is there now and the quality is shining through.
"Defensively we have looked stronger, despite injuries, and we are always going to be a threat going forward.
"I have worked my socks off trying to do the best I can and it's been a great experience and whatever happens I will be happy with my short time here."
Mjallby has the chance to become manager of AIK Stockholm in Sweden but he admits he would rather stay at Parkhead.
"Obviously there is a bit of speculation about the AIK Stockholm job," the former Sweden international said.
"I played at AIK for so many years so I can sit on the fence on that one and bide my time.
"I'm ready for it but I'd rather be here.
"They asked me if I was interested a couple of weeks ago but I told them I wanted to focus on Celtic and as I said, I would rather be here.
"This is a fantastic opportunity and if I got it I would really be up for it.
"Neil and I haven't spoken about it because we don't know what is going to happen but I'm quite sure Neil has been happy with me otherwise he wouldn't have brought me in.
"He knows what I'm all about and I have tried to give him my best."
Mjallby insists the Parkhead board would have to recruit a top-class keeper if Artur Boruc leaves in the summer.
The Poland international, whose contract is up at the end of next season, has been linked with Sevilla in a £2million move.
Mjallby, who could not confirm if the keeper had broken two fingers in the 2-1 home win over Rangers on Tuesday night before he was replaced by fellow Pole Lukasz Zaluska, said: "We have two very good goalkeepers at this club but I would be disappointed to see Artur leave because he is a top class goalkeeper.
"He has been a fantastic asset over the years for Celtic.
"He has the attributes to play anywhere in this world, he's that good.
"I can't tell the board what to do, I'm not in a position to say too much about the wheeling and dealing but if Artur leaves you would need to go in for a very good goalkeeper."

I originally thought that appointing Lenny was a great idea as the only thing that the team were lacking was a bit of pride and enthusiasm for playing in the hallowed hoops, as the team on paper should have been beating every team in the SPL by a margin (including the huns). This, of course, could certainly be instilled by the 'norn iron' man as I've a sneaking suspicion that he loves the bhoys more than he loves his own parents lol. But the more I think about it the more I put myself 6 weeks into the new season and we're behind Rangers in the league and all I'm hearing is "why did we give the job to Lenny when he had no experience?". Therefore, it might be better to let him cut his teeth elsewhere to gain the experience and in the mean time appoint someone to at least keep us in contention for the title. On the other hand, if we gamble and end up winning the title next season it'll be one of Celtic's most historic moments to watch a young Northern Irish man who's not only played for the club but has Celtic in his blood lifting the SPL trophy as Celtic's manager. As you can see I still haven't made up my mind...

After seeing the improvement in the side over the last 8 weeks and how the players feel towards Lennon, I'd say that the board should give them the job.

He's earned it and has us fighting for each other. It's also clear that the players have a massive amount of respect for the man and his training methods, that to me is more important than having "experience".

There's plenty of managers out there who have "experience" and have won the square root of hee-haw, then you look at guy's like Guardiola and see that experience isn't always a factor that should be considered, especially when you can see on the pitch that the team are fightning tooth and nail for Lennon.

I dont trust the board in appointing anyone decent after the Mowbray farce. Lennon has instilled fight back into the team, has won 7 spl games in a row including beating Rangers, and has a huge passion for the club. The solution is obvious, appoint Lennon
