    Very unlikely to happen though I would love it.what happened in the past is in the past we all make mistakes.as for him being a hun it's not as if its Barry ferguson who grew up a hun it's obviously a team he liked the look of.

    Not sure about this one, so lets set up some positives and negatives

    Positive:
    - Great midfielder
    - EPL Experience

    Negative:
    - Acts like a *
    - We have a superb midfield already with Ki as a great backup. Dont know who to drop.
    - He is a hun apparently


    If I look at this points...

    No for me.:bbpd: Please get a * keeper.

    Commons--Ledley-- kayal---Barton --
    Now that's a top class midfield which would totally dominate any 5 man midfield in Scotland allowing hooper and stokes to do there damage and no more sammy up front

    If we didnt have Kayal, Ki or Ledley I wonder would people be so dismissive of signing him due to his bad attitude . Dont think he is really needed but a year ago I would have taken him. Anyway we cant pay his wages so it aint happening

    Wonder how he would react if Black or McCuloch sliced him, or when he's getting abuse from 40 k Huns on derby day, or when he's out and a Hun(s) decides to shout abuse at him. And will he criticise us when half of parkhead boos him when he makes one stray pass, afterall he is known to criticise his OWN fans.     anyway so as for barton coming you have to get rid of either ki ledley plus we just signed wanyama so doubt if lenny will go for him but I would take him if we had the chance just don't know who to drop

    Joey Barton is a tremendous player.

    Joey Barton is also on 80k a week and looking for his last big contract at 28.

    We also have Scott Brown, Joe Ledley, Beram Kayal and Ki Sung Yung who play the same position and make it about the strongest part of our team.
