No chance. Bellamy can be a bit of a loose cannon and has a bit of a temper, but he's not a bad guy. Barton is an utter thug. A * of the highest proportions (as several of the above posts will testify to) and far more in the Diouf camp. Wouldn't want him anywhere near the club.

Good player but far too much of an * to bother with!!!

Very orc-like in his behaviour both on & off the park and definitely not suited to the goldfish bowl that is Glasgow!!!

    Move on please!!!

Brilliant player. * of a man.

If he could restrain himself and not be a * for two mins he could be something special. i could see Lennon working wonders but would i risk it? Would i *.

He wouldn't get into our team to be honest.

The last thing we need is a hothead anyway.

Good footballer but spoils it for himself at times.

Guaranteed minimum yellow card every game if he played here, and probably deservedly.

Would hate it if he signed for us. Acts like a typical hun.

I've seen him tweet things like Hail Hail before. He'd probably come if we wanted him. I doubt we do though.

Another defensive midfielder isn't exactly what i thought we needed. Maybe he's an *, but i also think he's just really thick.

We'd be getting a guy with experience who can be a power house in midfield.

It's a bit of an unexpected one, but on a loan deal? I certainly wouldn't want to be paying his wages, but it would depend on what we'd be paying.

Again, it's a gamble and the money would probably be better spent elsewhere. But i'm sure he'd actually do quite well up here.

What he did against City in the last game of the season was stupid, but i think a 12 game ban was incredibly harsh.

If he came here and QPR are still paying his wages, we have no long term commitment and he stays off Twitter, why not. Cover for Scott Brown.

If there's one thing Barton isn't, it's thick. He might not be the voice of the nation he thinks he is, but he's certainly not thick.

He has a short temper and is an aggressive little * but thick he certainly is not.

He is a product of his upbringing same as the rest of his family, only difference being he was born with the gift of being able to play football. Very well.

I didn't mean that he was thick as in, couldn't count to ten. I just meant that he knew that he was a target for the press and kept saying or doing things that made him look bad, fuelling the fire.

Dependent on QPR signing one of their players for £8 million, the last i heard.
But on the showing of today's game, we don't need Barton.

I like Barton but we don`t really need him. The centre of midfield is our strongest area and his wages would be * mental
