    Ledley had a quiet game but I watched it on TV, I always used to think he was *, overrated and overpaid til I saw him regularly in the flesh.
    Only then do you notice and appreciate the sheer amount of running, tracking, covering, tracking, passing and great team work he does.

    Such an unselfish and useful player, he is vital to us and probably the 2nd name on the teamsheet behind Forster.

    Only criticism I can possibly throw at Joe is his extreme one-footedness which can get him into trouble.

    Joe couldn't control the ball in comparison with whom? Brown? Do not make me laugh :56:

    Joe put in a shift last night as did all of our team, especially whilst under the cosh in the first half. Finding a reason to have a dig after a 2 nil away European win is very, very peculiar.

    He has improved but I think he's been great every season to be honest. I think he just wasn't appreciated as much in his first season because he was a 'quiet' player, just got the job done.

    Now we understand his game more so we appreciate him more - added to the fact he scores a few.

    I actually think that Ledley is imposing himself on games more and more now. I don't see him as the constant quiet but effective type of player anymore. I think this season we'll be seeing him(and Brown) grabbing games by the scruff of their necks more often than in previous seasons. :50:
