I rate him really highly as a player but if he doesn't want to be here anymore then so be it. If he goes back to Cardiff it is for no any other reason than money.

Do you not think the fact they're his childhood club who he still supports would factor into that decision?

At the age of 26? No. Why leave in the first place only to return 3 years later? Fair enough if he returned to play for them nearer the end of his career (like Bellamy) but i don't really see any appeal for him going back to Cardiff at this stage of his career other than more money.

Because they're in a better league, he has developed his career more, they're spending a bit of money to progress and he supports them? Of course it would come into a decison to go back there. He's not the most money motivated person, he knocked back more money at Roma to sign for us, it'll come down to the football.

If they were still playing in Championship do you think he would go then? I hardly see going to play for Cardiff and lets be honest for however long they are in the Premiership they are always going to be fighting relegation or end up being relegated. If it's not all about money and more on football then surely he would want to be at a club where he is playing in Champions League and winning trophies.

Starting to think that, maybe sell him 1-1.5 that and the wages saved gives about 2m to re-invest. Only because I'd rather have something than nothing although I think if still in Europe then we may hold him to the end of the season).

I would like Joe to stay however with Mulgrew Biton Rogic Kayal we have enough central players maybe sign a left winger/midfielder who offers a bit more going forward.

    We've also Borrigter and Sammi

Not for a second would he if they were still in the Championship, due to the level of football. Swansea have managed to stay away from the relegation battles, no reason Cardiff can't.

I don't see what Swansea have achieved has to do with Cardiff. Just because they are both Welsh?

Because they are both similar sized clubs coming out of the same division into the same division. Cardiff have the money to spend and Big Malky has done a fine job down there.
