    This.

He’s not outstanding with the ball at his feet but he’s also not Forster or Gordon with it.

Same here, thought he'd totally lost his way since he was at City and imagined him coming here making all sorts of clangers a la Barkas last season, but happy to say I was wrong.

Big man has made some big saves already and is clearly a presence on the pitch and in the dressing room. Bargain at £1m.

Aye, just the way people were going on before we signed him as if he was terrible. Not saying he's great at it but he's good enough and confident enough in himself to be capable.

To think we got him for £1m while Arsenal are flinging £30m at Ramsdale…

Some keepers just thrive here more, Forster, Boruc they never really reached the heights they did here after they left. Hart chose to come here and it wasn’t for money, that is already a good measure of the man imo.

He brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the team, you canny underestimate the importance of having a GK who has a presence, now if only we could have a proper defence in front of him ....

It’s one of them things in a football team not many people understand, Keepers grow in confidence if they believe in their centre backs and vice versa. As soon as that bonds made the entire team benefits from it.

Hart was a world class keeper, he still is, it’s about self belief and forming a bond with the CBs as soon as that happens he will flourish here.

Absolutely loving him! A natural leader. Night and day from what we've been used to lately.

    A fantastic signing.

    Hes made a huge impact.

Seems the type it would be hard not to be mates with in the dressing room as well.

Will he make a mistake? Probably at some point, every keeper does. But if we can get him back to even 60% of what he was at one point we are onto a winner.

He was a top top keeper for years. I was sceptical about him but you obviously don't just lose that.

Hate to use such a cliche but I genuinely think he just wants to feel "loved" again. He's not had that since he left man City.

Not the place for it but that football club is an absolute shambles from head to toe. Their board make ours look unbelievably good. Sounds mental but they could be bottom half this year.

His confidence will grow if he continues to play well. Lets hope his confidence doesnt turn into arrogance and cockiness because he is the type. If that happens he needs to remember who the Captain is and not stand on McGregors toes. People will think this is a very strange comment but he has got well above his station a few times in his career when things have been going well for him before inevitably getting taken down a peg or two. Hopefully he's mature enough now to know his place in the Celtic food chain.

Actually find it hilarious that teams like Celtic, Ajax, Rosenberg etc are all going to be pulled into new FFP rules because Man City, PSG and the likes are spending more on signing on fees never mind transfer fees than all three clubs total in their entire season spending. Added to the 1.23b yes that’s right BILLION pound debt Barca are in.

Clubs well ran like ours are going to be shafted because the mega rich clubs and oil sheiks are completely taking the * throwing money about like it’s going out of fashion. No player on earth is worth 50million never mind 100+million. If I was paying that I’d expect 100% stats and 90 goals a season.

    That Barca debt is scary.

As for Celtic going to the grotesque riches of the EPL...they can keep it, why would I want the heart and soul ripped out of the club I love.

Never rated him when he was at Man City as Foster was always being compared to him, but watching back last nights game now and he is such an influence. Given how weak we are I think we have just powered up x10 on the goalkeeper front.

Would like to see Barkas and Bain offloaded and us to double up on Hazard and Doohan as backup.

That outstanding save with his foot at the start of the game was so important.

As mental as it sounds, Lawwell would have sorted them out. That Edu/Venkatesham partnership is actually brutal.
