Just shows how much faith Deila has in his other players though. But Griffiths isn't a wide player, Berget is! Only Boerrigter could of replaced him in that position. Griffiths has played there before and will again until we get a proper player but I think Deila was thinking "This guys position is actually the left and he knows my philosophy so let's just start him". Which was wrong, I knew that before we kicked off.

Pukki shouldn't have played in the middle, Griffiths should have.

I hope we're not going to go through the same old mistakes Neil Lennon made...

He looked decent today, some good link up play, held the ball up once or twice too

I think he can play all across the front four but I'm sure he was up front tonight.

He done ok, not bad touches and got involved. He doesnt look like a striker, winger or attacking midfielder though.... Miku 2.

I came in here to ask the very same question. I was under the impression he was a midfielder but he was playing up front tonight. He looked not bad when he came on anyway.

added some energy to the game.played a part in the goal.think he done well.think his best position is were commons plays though.looks very useful can play anywhere up top and looks as if he can header a ball which will be good for corners.i think this guy is going to do well here.

You got that from tonight? But you think Stokes should be punted after four years of goals and assists?

He's a number 10 like Commons I think. Can play as a striker as well.

I've not seen too much of him, but he looks like he lacks the guile to be a 'Number 10'. If he is a wide player, then he is probably a Samaras-type

Plays * - never going to make it here, Cardiff reject, sack Deila.

Plays tonight and doesn't suck - he'll have a good season, looks good etc...

    Welcome to TC folks.

Quite sure he played number 10 role when he came on then was moved to centre forward when Tony went off. One thing I will say is his barnet needs sorted the * out.

Linked up well, played a lot better upfront by himself than Stokes did, who knows how it will pan out for him though. Hope he proves to be a solid player for us.
