he did not get offered a new 4 year deal at fulham he only got 1 year offered thats why he left and from the city forum


Interesting to see that after accusing Fulham fans of being a bunch of bed-wetting * for getting the hump with Bullard for being an ungrateful, greedy *, a lot of you seem to have woken-up to the truth about good old Jimmy’s cheeky-chappy nature. Thick as * and greedy as sin. The word on the street in the good half of SW6 from a friend of a friend of Bullard, and a reliable source where he’s concerned, is that there’s less than *-all chance of him taking any pay cut – he wants his contract honoured in full. I take no enjoyment from the fact that Duffen and Brown let their egos get in the way, and signed him up on the most ridiculously generous and stupid contract ever (oh, and the other bit of information passed on was that on £45k pw, Bullard would have been happy with a two year contract at Hull, but was offered four and a half). I hope you manage to get shot of the fella without crippling your club financially.

 

thats absolutely shocking what hes done. was looking forward to seeing him in paradise, if he still joins which i think he will. jimmy will need to work his * off to convince us all he's not in it just for the money

no chance now mate! As another lad said players like him are not needed at celtic park this year, we need people who are 100% commited too playing for Celtic and not just interested in picking up a nice wage packet.

Are you saying the likes of Marc Antoine Fortune, Georgios Samaras and others are money grabbers, because they aren't exactly winners and i doubt it was ever a lifelong dream for them to play for Celtic. You could say the same for most of the rest of the squad. The difference is, Bullard is a far better player than either of them two.

 

Sounds a bit like Joe Ledley, only there was more money in the SPL!
