The guy ain't there because he is a Celtic legend (which he is), he's there because he is an Arsenal legend as well. Charlie often comes across as a * but he also says things that sometimes are true and are hard to digest. Scotland fans hate him still because he said that Berti Vogts wasn't good enough after a year of his reign. He was right on that one.

Jim White is a * and Charlie Nick is an even bigger *.
I was at the Paul Davis testamonial way back in the early 90s when Nicholas played one half for Arsenal and the other for Celtic and he threw his jersey to the Arsenal fans and basically ignored us. He was a great player, no doubt but I always thought he treated us with contempt and since he's been a pundit has been guilty of the most scaithing attacks on Celtic from time to time, most of it unjustified.

If he was party to Jim White's disrespect for the people, my ancestors, who were starved to death by the English, then he can get tae *.

I'll be surprised if anything is taken further though. We come from a Hun country and we have to live with that.

 

Well hopefully that recording gets on youtube or something like that and made very public so this * Jim White and Charlie Nicholas have to deal with it and apologize.
I am the first to crack Irish jokes and have a laugh at our own expense but the famine that is a totally different deal. That whole event hits too deep to joke about unless your either a racist or a complete and utter amadan.

I loved big Ron. Unfortunately he had the typical views of a guy born in the 1930s. A lot of guys his age talk racist but woudl never wish harm in practice. A daft but decent man IMO.

We've got to lighten up here, Nicholas might come across as a * at times but he is a tim no doubt.
It does sound like a joke, i'd put my house on that, and as far as i'm concerned most things are ok to joke about as long as there is no intended malice.
