Ralston has had better games for us this season than Toljan has managed.

He's not been terrible but if I'm honest I was expecting much more from an attacking RB from Dortmund that's on £40k a week. Underwhelming.

Come on now, there are levels. Toljan will have a proper career in the Bundesliga, Ralston will be lucky to go to one of the bigger clubs in the Scottish Championship.

He needs to show he wants it..

Looks to be suffering from a lack of confidence leading to a lack of concentration. Getting caught out with that out to in run and inside ball shouldn't keep happening to a full back..

Much better than what he's showing but is definitely playing within his self and no doing enough for us to sign him outright at present..

I think Ralston will go on to have a good career here by the way for what it's worth. Seems like a Lenny type of player..

Lennon was a Champions League level holding midfielder. Ralston won’t ever even scratch the surface of what Lenny achieved as a player.

I meant he's a player i think Lenny will like..

Like a Mark Wilson capable full back for example..

Hard grafting 100% player that makes up for any lack of quality with leaving everything on the line. I actually think he's shown he has a bit more quality than even i give him credit for as well..

Think Mark Wilson was far superior technically personally. Time will tell, I just don’t get why so many people rate Ralston other than the fact he laughed at Neymar and likes a tackle.

For me Toljan and Lustig are far superior.

They are superior when it comes to passing and pedigree but Ralston has shown in his own right that he's actually an extremely attacking full back that get's up and down well, is strong in the challenge and has chipped in with assists and goals..

That wee run he had before injury he was scoring or smashing it off the woodwork, at time's 1 of our most attacking player's in the box. Quite a good outlet..

And yet, I still feel far more comfortable with Ralston rather than Toljan.

Just like I felt more comfortable with Lee Naylor rather than Braafheid, despite one going on to feature in a World Cup. I really liked Toljan at first but he has some absolute massive glaring weaknesses.

Hopefully he has a Kelvin Wilson-esque turnaround.

Ironically the reason why Ralston will never make it as a Celtic player.

He’s a foreign loanee that’s just been thrown into the eye of the storm here. It would be an anomaly if he were to look good given everything that’s gone/going on. But one thing is for sure and that’s that he’s a much better footballer than Ralston.

Then we shouldn’t be going for shortgap foreign loanees. Just because he has an excuse doesn’t mean he should consistently let a man run off the back of him.

Being a ‘better footballer’ isn’t all there is to football either or you would have been right about Paddy McCourt and Broony:101:

First few games I was impressed and felt he would only get better.

Recently however he's been gash in all honesty. Loose in possession, poor positionally and constantly giving away silly fouls.

Also seems to lack a bit of passion. May just be his nature but I get the feeling he is just here for the * of it. Doubt he will be about next season if this continues.

    Not the player I expected.

As for Ralston he still isn't the answer. Right back will still need looked at if we don't sign Toljan.

Toljan has speed and that is a great commodity in a full back. He has pedigree, Ralston does not have that.

Lustig is effectively finished and Gamboa is not trusted. Toljan has not played any games in the Bundesliga for Dortmund for over a year.We have to give him some more time to settle in to a new team, new country and background.

I am confident he will seal that right back spot for his own.

None of our current right backs are the answer.

On the basis of what we've seen so far, Toljan is * pish.

I don't think he is a much better footballer. His first touch is suspect. Out of them all, Lustig is the best footballer, but sadly the legs won't let him do what he used to.

I think he's still getting up to match fitness and trying to adapt to the Scottish game for what it's worth.

What if the question is 'who would you play at RB on Sunday?'
