He's terrible. Play Lustig until Ralston is fit.

I think he's a weak link and teams are targeting him now! He gives possession away a lot, first touch is often very poor and going forward he is quite often the source of our moves breaking down.

I was hopeful about him when he came but he isn't better than Lustig in my opinion. I would feel safer if Lustig played before him as we are getting to point were we need players that we can trust.

I know Lustig has had his own problems but I think he is more solid at the back and thats important.

His ball retention is * dire.

He has the touch of a rapist

And he passes the ball like hes just gotta a text that his accumulators in danger of being * if we score.

Like others have said... I'd actually go back to lustig at this stage.

I think folk are going massively OTT with the criticism.

Coincidentally, many of the same people that were practically calling him Cafu after a 15 minute cameo.

    Speaks volumes.

    I like Toljan.

He adds a new dimension to our right side which compliments Tierney on the left side.

    Be patient with him.

Would put him on par with Ralston tbh, and when it comes down to that I'd rather Ralston as at least he is our own player.

I think there is a player there. I first saw him in 2017, playing for Germany u21’s against England in the euro semi finals and he tore the English to shreds. They couldn’t live with his pace, he was whipping good balls in and was always an outlet.

For us so far, I think he has been really poor. Defensively he hasn’t been switched on and his end product going forward has not been good enough. However, there is a reason he got his move to Dortmund. He also didn’t play a lot of first team football this year and I think the lack of games hasn’t helped him at all, especially when you come into a fast-paced league like ours.

Sometimes I think his passing and decisions look * because he doesn’t have anybody to give the ball to, other than a backwards pass. On the occasions he gets into the opposition box his one twos can be quality. Not saying he’s been great.. just that there could be another reason he’s looked a bit crap

He's decent has a mistake in him though does give the ball away cheaply sometimes but usually provides an option and can link up. Still better than lustig. Wonder if Lenny will give Gamboa a try

I’d prefer Ralston just now tbh. Gets up the pitch just as well, doesn’t get bullied as easily, doesn’t let a guy run off his shoulder and try and take him down because of it 3/4 times a game. Thought he started very well but has been pretty gash since

I don’t rate Ralston at all, but he does give you 100% and can handle the rough side of our game. I think Toljan is definitely a better player that has been thrown in at the deep end and it shows, he had absolutely no support at times on Saturday though and had far too much to do himself so had to cut back and play it into defence.

Toljan is a powder puff RB, scared to go forward, not seen him at full speed yet and horrific at defending. But he is still a better option than Lustig which tells you how bad our RB situation is.

The biggest worry is that Toljan has only ever gotten worse, there has been zero sign of him finding his feet whatsoever.

lightweight looks slow and his man cuts across him like he isn't even there, only thing he has done decent was a stupid wee flick.

I wanted so badly for him to be the answer to our RB problems but he is no better than the 3 RB's we already have.
