All he had to do is talk to another Dutch player with potential that came to Celtic in 2013.

We are being ran into the ground before our eyes. Poor coaching has now filtered down to our most talented players wanting to leave and the longer NL is in charge, the longer this drags on, the more will be heading out.

Where I feel he could have been a big player for us, I think the rough treatment and lack of protection will have played a big part in him being so keen to leave. The coaching side won’t have helped either and the media coverage of his public life.

Even with a 30% sell on, if the bid is more than £10m plus add ons then we will still have made £6 or 7m on him before the add ons in a little over a season.

As someone else mentioned I would bring back O'Connor and see if he has anything to offer between now and the end of the season as there’s nothing to lose.

I'd imagine we are selling to get a big sell on and kill the man city sell on. Something like 3/4 mill with 10/15% sell on

    Poor coaching has its part.

However, he is a very very poor player when it comes to end product. A fair degree of that cannot be trained into a player either - it is partly instinct.

The gods honest truth is that I would be able to have a better end product than him if I was in the positions he got himself into (fair play to him for that though).

Appointing Lennon for a second spell has proven to be one of our worst decisions in my lifetime.

So when is Forrest back, because by my calculations we have our best centre half playing down the right wing, big Ralston who is clearly not good enough, Elhamed, no idea what’s going on with him, and Dembele.

Lennon has apparently said that more players have expressed that they want to leave. The board and Lennon are ripping the club apart. Criminal what's going on at the club.

What age are you? Luigi Macari (copyright wee Fergus) wasn’t much of a decision either.

Wonder if he was one of the ones who went to the club fearing for their safety after the ross county and st johnstone protests

that’s a cop out excuse, you can hear Lennon every game screaming at Frimpong telling him to get by his man. I think he is a wee precious * bag who doesn’t like getting shouted at!!
