Did have a chance to get a shot off but delayed, when Christie slipped him in with a delightful back heel.
Hopefully starts against Killie on Sunday

Ripped the pish into a guy and crossed the ball to the clouds :56: I think hes absolutely brilliant and only 18. Hes going to be better than Tierney ever was.

Thought it was crazy to pitch him straight back in, could see he was lacking sharpness.

him infront of elhamed would be good, give forrest a bit of a rest.

I thought he looked dangerous going forward, however equally as dangerous as trying to defend.

It doesn't help that Lennon wants both FBs to come in and help the cbs, we have central midfielders who should be doing that, the space they left out wide was terrible all game, even first half.

You can't ask JF and Hayes to act centrally to defend, ffs, they probably aren't even as big as Ajer with one on the shoulders.

There players were getting too much space and easily got round them time and time again thankfully Jules and Ajer cleared a lot.

Too small and light to play as a defender, but looks a promising attacking option.

Going forward he absolutely terrifies the full back - they had done their homework and tried to get 2 men back on him.

In a back 4 you could see 2nd half they were loading the back post on frimpong's side with their target men. Jullien did amazing covering that and winning the headers. Think 3-5-2 would combat their game better in the second leg especially if they do start pumping balls into the box again.

Good player but has a * of a lot to learn, which is normal for a player of his age of course.

Tierney was far more impressive defensively at 18 than frimpong is. Tierney played with a level of maturity and purpose that Frimpong has not shown as yet.

I still see the boy as a complete bonus, no one expected him to be as good as he is. Comparisons with Tierney aren't fair as he was a once in a generation player to come through. Can clearly see his strengths and maybe some of his weaknesses are now being exposed but he'll learn

Game was crying out for him in my opinion..

We had no real outlet. We had an unfit Broony and Rogic in the middle which doesn't have the legs whatsoever..

We needed someone to come on and turn the other way. Whether it be for Rogic and Forrest there or whatever but we needed to change it..

Not the answer on a night were we were shown up defensively.

He's still young so not a criticism of him but not yet got whats needed in defence even if he is exciting on attack.

    I disagree..

He was rinsing them last week but still a bit rusty off the back of his injury..

Would've given us a second wing battering down the right and skinning their defender's..

Would've been a sub I'd have made as soon as we equalised..
