I think he will go on to be a top player. He has all the attributes to succeed. I wish him well. We need to get back to being an appealing club for talented young players.

corrects himself on "could" earn a lot off him? Sounds like a deal dependent on a lot of ifs and buts in the future. Wouldn't be surprising since he isn't much of a different player than 2 years ago.

You've done * all, Lennon. He's no better than he was when he joined.

There won't be many wanting to stay at the moment. I do feel for the foreign players as with covid it must be brutal living here not being able to do anything.

It's not so bad for the Scottish guys as this is there home.

To be honest, I'm not his biggest fan and not devastated to see him go.......however with the right coaching he could improve a lot. He wouldn't have under these helmets we have running the team.

Absolutely gutted. One of my favourite players and bags of potential to be top class.

Best of luck to him, can't blame him for wanting to move on either. * the board.

I don’t think there is any player in Scotland who would knock back a chance to play in the Bundesliga. For me, I will be very surprised if he goes on to be a top player. Great bit of business by the club.

Under Lennon he’d never progress, the lads defensive awareness is poor and the coaches in Germany will definitely help that side of his game. Good luck to him but I’m personally not too bothered.

£11.5m represents really good business. I rate Frimpong but his end product was very poor and that’s the difference between a good player and a great player. I’m sure his end product will improve with better coaching.

This window should have been about bringing in new players to strengthen the squad ahead of the summer rebuild. That’s not going to happen as we have a manager who is well past his sell-by date.

But if we can offload players who “want to leave” then great. Apart from the Scottish Cup, we have nothing left to play for. So I’m all for selling players in January as long as the money is reinvested in the squad during the summer window.

His final ball was very poor as was his positional sense defensively. He will probably be better coached at Leverkusen and turn into be a top player.

It’s good business, but at the same time he’s the type of player that could still improve significantly with the right coaching. Ideally he would be here for a few more years and we could rebuild the playing squad with players of a similar age group and ability.

Wish him all the best. It’s a good move for him and I don’t really blame anyone for having their head turned under the circumstances at the club just now.

Wages as well, considering he came from Man City under 19s and had never played a competitive game before he's probably only on about £4-5k a week with us maybe even less as when we signed him he never went into our first team squad. If we were giving him a new contract we'd probably only double/triple that to £8-10k now he's established himself as getting games.

But at Leverkusen a squad player there is probably on £20-30k a week. Paying £11-12million as well probably the higher end of that, nobodies turning that down even if you think you might not get a game there.
