Would rather have Shane Long only because he's younger.
Both would be nice with Samaras and Murphy leaving.

Scott McDonald was * *!! a wee wingeing bassa whose second touch was a sliding tackle!!
exposed as the dressing room rat and celebrated like he was the biggest hun you'd ever met after THOSE goals * him and his * attitude!!!

was that the same Scott McDonald who was our top scorer for his time here? if he was *, i don't want to think what you'd describe the rest of the team that made the last 16 in the CL on several occasions. wingeing to get the best around him. if you were in the dressing room you'd probably tell the manager off for being mean. his second touch usually ended up in the back of the net. exposed as the dressing room rat? where? show me a link. he scored a goal for his club, he can celebrate how ever he wanted. players don't really support clubs when they grow up. they're professionals and support whoever is paying their wages. have some respect man.

Must.Be.me, that would be the ideal scenario imo but Samaras will stay due to Lennon's liking of him and as he has signed a new contract.

Think the Cardiff fans would explode if we stole another player off them :)

I'm hopeing his contract extension is to keep his transfer value up.
    I doubt it though.

Up to 10p with his new deal, instead of 2p.

after re-signing, he won't leave in the next window. maybe the Jan window but i just can't see it happening in the Summer which is a shame because i think he is key to who we bring in. no doubt we'll sign one striker but if he leaves we'll see another. i hope this is the case as i can see both Long and Bothroyd offering something to the club.

true mate, he was good for us no doubt:50: and he can celebrate what ever way wants, but the way he done it with pure exciting and delight from a man that's meant to be a celtic man, and knowing he just cost us the league still stick's in my throat.:54:

i reiterate, players only support the club paying their wages. i don't know of many players who have come out and said 'i am a Celtic man'. they maybe have family members support us or supported us as a kid but that doesn't mean they are a 'Celtic man'. i think the only people deemed to be Celtic men are us the fans and those past players/managers who say that we as a club have a place in their heart.

everyone jumps about when our new players or managers are deemed Celtic men and some people already like the player if they're Irish. i couldn't care less. i prefer what services they provide the club.

McDonald was a professional footballer playing for Motherwell. he could celebrate however he wished. it hurt me knowing we lost the title, not how he celebrated. anyways, he made it up with what he contributed to us in a Celtic shirt.

I thought he done well last night, was winning a lot of headers and caused the center backs problems. Problem was he didnt get much service as they were shocking!

Bothroyd is so overrated on here. Look at his career, he's struggled at middling Championship clubs. He started this season brilliantly, but he's only scored 4 times since November when he got an England call-up. The Cardiff fans are getting sick of him now, he totally shat out of a 50/50 last night that would have resulted in a Cardiff goal. That's something Long would never do. Anyone who would take that lazy * over Long is crazy.
