I would take the big fella no problem !

He's more of a goal threat than big Sammi and more agile than big Murphy,

    Yup, get him signed !

STALKED by Stoke, wanted by West Brom, rated by Roma.

Joe Ledley had no shortage of suitors last summer as he stood at the crossroads of his career.
The Wales international was out of contract at Cardiff and seemed destined for the bright lights of the Premiership.
Then Celtic and boss Neil Lennon came calling.
Now, as former Bluebird buddy Jay Bothroyd ponders his own future, Ledley has urged the striker to join him at Parkhead.
Bothroyd is a wanted man with Celts, Everton and Blackburn all in the race for the hitman's signature.
Ledley said: "I was in the same situation last year and you have to weigh everything up.
"Obviously if you're playing in the Premiership you are up against the best players week in, week out.
"At Celtic you are playing in front of 50,000 fans every week and you are expected to win every game.
"There is huge pressure to do well and, of course, you also have a chance to play in Europe.
"There were a few clubs looking at me and I spoke to Stoke, West Brom and Roma.
"Celtic felt right and the gaffer played his part, he really sold me on the club.
"He's a very honest man and he lets you know exactly what he expects from you.
"He met my family and I think we were all impressed. Neil Lennon's a great guy to work for and there's a real conviction about him.
"I remember also when I first came to Glasgow. Lennoxtown is a fantastic training centre and then, when you see Celtic Park for the first time...
"You don't realise how big a stadium it is until you come and walk out of the tunnel. It's a great stage to play on. You fall in love with the people and the city.
"Jay will need to think about everything, but it will be his decision and we'll have to respect it whatever it is."
Bothroyd hit 20 goals for Cardiff in the season just ended and Ledley has no doubt the 29-year-old would be a smash hit in the SPL.
He reckons Celtic face a massive fight to land him. Ledley added: "Jay would do a great job here I'm sure. He's big and strong, but for such a big guy he's brilliant with the ball at his feet.
"He's proved this season he can score goals and he'd be a good addition to the squad.
"It won't just be Celtic interested in him. There will be a lot of Premiership teams after him.
"Jay has had a fantastic season at Cardiff and won his first England cap too."
One former Cardiff player who IS on his way to Parkhead is 19-year-old Adam Matthews.

The right-back will hook up with his new Celtic team mates for the first time on the club's pre-season tour of Australia. Ledley helped sell Matthews on the move and he said: "I've found Celtic is a great club to play for, the fans are brilliant and it's a great league to play in.
"That's what I told Adam. He'll have seen on TV what it's like here and how well we play.
"It's a massive club, much bigger than Cardiff, but Adam will learn a lot here and he's still young.
"There were a lot of clubs in England after him and he's a great player who likes to bomb forward, he's very good on the ball.
"He's got a great right foot on him and a massive throw.
"That will be a handy weapon for us next season because it's not something we've ever had.
"Adam's a top lad and I think he'll be a great signing for Celtic."
Ledley missed the season's title run-in after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.
He's vowed to be back fit for the start of the new campaign.
Ledley added: "I was gutted, I missed the league run-in and, of course, the Scottish Cup Final.
"My injury came at the worst possible time. It was great we won the Cup, but it was still a sad way for me to end the season.
"It was a difficult time, but I'll definitely be fit for the start of the new season."

There's a lot of stuff out today about him going to Everton. Good luck to him if it's true.

I met Joe Ledley in the Tesco petrol station in bothwell on Friday. Asked him about the injury and missing the cup. Then I asked him about the DR story about Boothy. He said he's been telling him how good it is up here and how good Celtic is. He said he did talk to the DR about him too. But he was just talking, it wasn't coming from anywhere in the club.

    But he lives in hope.

I wouldn't expect him to make a massive impact but as a third striker if might not be that bad to get him on a free.
