You can't generalise players by where they're from, especially as we've signed very few players from the Far East. Other clubs have had massive success in the East Asian markets, look at BVB with Kagawa. Every time we're linked with a Japanese, Chinese or Korean player, some moron comes out with "Koki Mizuno" or "Du Wei". If that's the extent of their input, they clearly know * all about football.

wasn't making any generalizations about Asian players was just responding to the fact that ki and naka were being listed as successful players here while mizuno was being listed as a failure. While ki did make a lot more appearances than mizuno he was at no time a guaranteed starter and aside from the 6 million pounds Swansea gave us for him he didn't really accomplish much.

new coach at swansea wanted something different in the MF. For those saying he couldn't hack it in the EPL, he was rated highly at an impressive Swansea

He won the cup with Swansea - their first I believe.

He now runs the midfield for Stoke.

Fine player - I would have him back any day.

But yeh, agreed. He is doing well in Poyet's new system and he wants him to make the move permanent. Always liked Ki.

Tidy player with good close control and technical skill, looks heavily left sided but so was Naka

He'd be kick ti f''k in the SPL, if he could deal with that then grand.
