    JAN VENNEGOOR OF HESSELINK has been urged to leave Celtic and rejoin PSV Eindhoven.
    The departure of Gordon Strachan may mean the Dutch striker will not take up a one-year option on his current Parkhead deal.
    And Hesselink's former Eindhoven team-mate Andre Ooijer, who has returned to PSV for a second spell from Blackburn, urged the striker to join him.

    Ooijer said: "I hope Jan comes back to PSV. Strachan has left Celtic and that may effect Jan's situation. I have great confidence in our new coach Fred Rutten and I'm glad to be back in Eindhoven."

    Theres one thing i hate about the majority of celtic fans on this forum. They are "quick to forget and quick to critsize" (Joke)!

    Spot on mate it's not like he has been * all the time 21 goals first season 20 the second and the third been hampered with injury but it's been a bad season for him .

    And they are people on wanting him out the door if we can get some half decent money take it but lay off the big man he done us well .:50:

    calm down i havent for one minute forgot what he has done for this club, just this season he has been dire and its time for change. i do wish jan all the luck in the world he has scored some majorly important goals notibly the last minute goal against huns last season.

    I like him, always have done, but it's time for him to up sticks. He takes too long to recover from injuries and is less mobile now than he was when he first joined.
