Little bit backward for me. I also think if he did secure a move like Celtic he'd feel like that was job done and would put half the effort in he has at Motherwell. Probably end up injured again.

At the end of the day the boy would have two options if we were interested in him.

He can either stay with Motherwell (the 2nd best team in Scotland), play regularly in the SPL and have a crack at the Europa league qualifiers with them, or come to Celtic and be nothing more than a bit-part player. There's no way he would get regular football with us at the stage he's at in his career. He's 30 years old now.

Saying that, if we manage to put together another decent run in Europe, and he performs well at Motherwell in the first half of the season I wouldn't be against bringing him in to strengthen our squad for the league.

I strongly suspect that the remaining league games are going to go in a similar manner to the events of yesterday.

The players will raise their game for trophy day in front of a packed Paradise, but until then, we're going to be seeing some really drab performances.

Which is a * disgrace if we're being honest. Punters pay their hard-earned cash to watch this team, including those who travel from far & wide to do so at not inconsiderable expense.

McFadden is the wrong sort of player for Celtic. We should be buying / bringing through youth, not paying for a 30 year old who is past his best with zero sellon value.

Nothing against the man he is the scorer of my favourite ever goal :D

Ok we want to win every single game Celtic play in, but the jobs done, and dusted. Give our young guys a wee run out now. Think how they young guys feel, pulling on that hooped top, and playing for our first team. Good on you Lenny, great tactical move :ynwacelti

He could play in a front 3 no problem. Won't cost a penny either. It's a no lose situation as long as we give him a 2 year deal.

Disagree. Lennon seems to be having enough trouble finding room for our numerous young attacking players, never mind bringing in a guy who's only a bit better than McCourt but a bit older.

We would have to pay him at least the minimum wage so we would lose something. He's * and always has been. He's now at a level where he belongs.

Without a shadow of doubt Tony Watt is already better than him.
    No, no, no, no, no.
If we pay him 5 pound a week it will be a waste of a fiver.
