In all honesty I dont think McFadden can offer Celtic anything different to what we have already. The defense and keeper need sorting out first!!!

Mcfadden would be brilliant up here. Wish we used the Murphy money to help fund Mcfadden. Can play in both wide positions and up front and would takeover from Mcgeady as the guy who can pull something out of nowhere.

I know Faddys cousin and although the whole family are Celtic daft hes always said that the reason he didnt want to come up to Celtic is cos he canna be annoyed with all the * that goes with it, the press and no privicy ect. Just what i have been told.

Bellamy is finnished as a top player he even said so last season he cant play 3games in a week no more , Taking him on loan is ok short term not long term the money used to bring him here on loan would be better used getting a player for the next 3/4 years . we dont have the funds to * up the wall on massive loan deals each season .

Kind of agree. Over the years big money loans seem to always indicate trying to make up for failure in player recruitment by the manager and seem to always end up in failure in terms of silverware (Bellamy, Keane, Wright, all those guys last season, Juninho-canny mind if we won or lost the league that year). To me its a gamble and when it fails (usually does) its money * away. I do not go for the 'bread and circuses' stuff. Its trying to cover up a huge wound with a temporary plaster IMO. I do not want any loans this season

i dont know what planet your on . Try and put forrest into the scotland first team and see if he can outplay mcfadden . Im sorry but you really are talking rubbish mate !! lol .

I think mcfadden would be a great signing . But tbh i would like to get our defence sorted first before thinking about signing attacking players .:icon_mrgreen::56:
