not too sure what to make of McFadden, he's had many great games for Scotland but he's failed to live up to that on many an occasion when i've seen him wae Birmingham :38:

Based on what? What has he done that makes him this great player? Has he even won any silverware? Im sure he has not.

McFadden instead of McGeady? Yes, pretty please.

Mcfadden is a really good player and would improve our team alot especially if he plays the position of maloney.

Don't want him, he said last year that he didn't want to come to us and the only reason that this would change now, is that he isn't wanted elsewhere. Simply put he isn't good enough and if anyone thinks that he would be the marquee signing then they are so wrong.

Think Celtic have already identified the players they want if and when money is available and i dont think McFadden is one of them .

i'd rather they got a chance instead of spending £3million on McFadden. They have shown patience and glimpses of talent and i believe they ought to get a chance this season

Oh yeah they deserve a chance but Forrest has only shown glimpses in a friendly tbh. He's too young for a regular first team slot IMO. McCourt is an enigma too, glimpses but lacks pace, has fitness issues and is regularly injured.

McCourt is one of those nearly guys imo - he will become a cult figure in years to come but his lack of fitness holds him back majorly. I think this is his last season to try and get his fitness to the right standard and play regularly or else he ought to be sold next summer. Forrest excites me with his potential and im hoping to see him quite regularly this season. I think the defence should be more of a priority than signing people like McFadden - no point n your strikers scoring if the defence is going to keep conceding just as many.

McFadden is one of the most inconsistent players I've ever seen. Way more inconsistent than Samaras. He plays well for Scotland but not great for club teams. He doesn't have a natural position and is liable to go completely missing for long parts if not whole games. I would say no to McFadden.

I don't think he's taking priority over defensive options. Lennon has clearly stated he's looking at several positions

Don't want McFadden here.. Would rather money was spent elsewhere.. Don't see mcfadden adding much to the squad to be honest.

quite like mcfadden but we need a cb rapid and we keep being linked with midfeilders and strikers :54:

If Aidan goes adn Shaun and Paddy have their usual levels of match fitness then Faddy would be a good buy. He can play a sort of wide playmaking role like Naka and wee Shaun. He is a real showman and I think he would cruise in the SPL and would be a huge fans favourite. I think at SPL level he would be good for 10 or 15 goals from MF a season.
