    I actually got text this 2 days ago and it said it was a swap for brown.Source is a mate whos been both right and wrong in the past.Make what you want of it, personally i cant see it but its a rumour nonetheless.

    brown is rubbish, the way he charges into challenges he risks doing himself as much damage as the other player and he is not much good for the flow of the game when he is moaning at the ref or fouling the opposition.

    as for mcfadden, if lennon describes samaras as an enigma then mcfadden is much the same, great on his day if he can be bothered.

    Dont see why people wouldnt want him. The guy is one of the few scots who has held his own in the EPL. He might not be a 30 goal a season striker but I think we have that with Hooper anyway. We need somebody with that bit of magic to break down a defence and McFadden has it and hes a player who responds well with a good support behind him.
