McFadden doesn't have to run from the half way line to score against France :50:
Wee shaun can't get in the Scotland squad because of Faddy. McCourt can't get in the Celtic Squad because of Wee Shaun...

    Danny don't you start :56::50:

Birmingham City have confirmed the signing of Alexander Hleb on a one-year loan from Barcelona and Martin Jiranek on a one-year deal from Spartak Moscow. We'll have more on this shortly.

For every decent run he has he loses the ball at least three times. Got lucky in St.Pauli with the ball ricocheting off the defender ankles although decent finish. McFadden scores absolute screamers and individual goals(see goal against France) and has the capability to make runs like Paddy more frequently, also McFadden is a first pick for his country, paddy can`t even get into a poor Northern Ireland side. Once again a no brainer.

    BTW people want leaders...
to continue on with the above post, by Benameen
McFadden is the one every Scotland player and supporter look to lead the way, to burst a gut and lead by example. He'd be a massive bonus for the club. If his name had an 'x' a 'Z' n funny wee dots on the top of the first vowel on his name (he'd have a funny name) people would be alot more enthusiastic about the potential signing

The market doesnt lie and Faddy is an expensive player who has been playing the EPL for years and been amazing in big games for Scotland. Paddy is a small league player bought for peanuts. Dont get me wrong Paddy can dribble, shoot and has good vision but he NOONE CAN DENY THIS clearly has some sort of major problem if manager no. 3 sees him as bench material. He has the raw talent. When people say he IS fit that is true but fitness and stamina our different things and it appears he does not have the even the lowest level of stamina expected from a player at this level. That in turn probably means he cant do the shift expected of him. Especially in a standard 4-4-2 formation with wingers your wingers have to track back just like Maloney and Aidan were trained to do for Strachan

i love paddy first an formost an he can win a game in a secound by himself, but he is an impact "sub" player imo for us,due to his stamina an workrate ,yes he will run from the halfway line to score but would he run back from the halfwayline to our own byeline to block a chance?

he's better playin in the hole imo because i dont think he would or could help out the full back if he's out on the wing for the majority of the game

Faddy or paddy, iam afraid its Faddy for me

Would love to see Faddy here but i doubt it will ever happen.

More likely he'll stay down in England for the rest of his career i reckon.

Faddy's top class, he'd be brilliant up here, but I don't know if McLeish would want to let him go, given that he's class and can play a number of positions.

Spend the money on another centre back, don't waste it on Mc Fadden.

I think McCourt is better than McFadden, are you going to try and disprove that or are you going to dismiss it because you are unable to? :87:

McFadden is an enigma, someone that has moments of genius and times when he dissapears completely. Same as McCourt. I tend to enjoy watching McCourt's balanced dribbling rather than McFadden's bumbling style.

it think that of McCourt, i think McFadden is twice the player McCourt is, but again are you going to try and dismiss it because you are unable to?

you know it works both ways

if we are going on games and teams and who has done it a the top level then it's McFadden all day long

never seen paddy play in a big game and be the star man or ripped apart a big team, just seen it when we have played the likes of the callys and falkirk's of this world......

McFadden has done it a good few times now......

ofcourse mcfadden is better than mcourt ! look at what they both have done in the game. mcourt cant even command a regular game for us so how can you possibly say he is better than a player who has played and scored for years in the english prem and for scotland? they are on complete different radars with regards to comparing them !
