Would work the wing forward role well, but he does blow hot and cold to much. However if there's anyway of brown leaving in this deal i'll bite your hand off.

Imo the focus should be on a decent goalie (aka Given). Bellamy would have been a luxury. McFadden is overrated imo and not worth the investment unless he is a free transfer. Would rather give players like Forrest a chance to break into the first team.

 

We don't need McFadden,he is average player IMO.
We have very solid players at that position Maloney,Paddy,young Forrest,maybe Sammy.

 

Not for me, even if it means Brown goes.

I personally think McFadden would be perfect in the advanced 3 attacking midfield system that Lennon likes to play.

I agree that McFadden is seldom fit also. We may be better just playing Paddy and he may get more match fit.

 

I'd happily take Faddy here. Can produce moments of brilliance at any time and would be great in the SPL.
