Would work the wing forward role well, but he does blow hot and cold to much. However if there's anyway of brown leaving in this deal i'll bite your hand off.

Imo the focus should be on a decent goalie (aka Given). Bellamy would have been a luxury. McFadden is overrated imo and not worth the investment unless he is a free transfer. Would rather give players like Forrest a chance to break into the first team.

We don't need McFadden,he is average player IMO.
We have very solid players at that position Maloney,Paddy, young Forrest, maybe Sammy.

Think this one might be more realistic now that Bellamy's away and with Lenny saying that there's other options in the pipeline it might well come off

Wouldn't spend a penny on him, McCourt is the exact same player exact with a better ability to beat a man.

I personally think McFadden would be perfect in the advanced 3 attacking midfield system that Lennon likes to play.

    Fortune/Forrest-------Maloney/McFadden-----McCourt/Samaras

Bit too far. You do realise you're comparing him to McFadden as well?

Both of them are luxury players that want the ball to come to them rather than work for it, both capable of magic and neither interested in donkey work.

I agree that McFadden is seldom fit also. We may be better just playing Paddy and he may get more match fit.:50:

I'd happily take Faddy here. Can produce moments of brilliance at any time and would be great in the SPL.
