nice way to dodge the question there ion.
funny though, you seem quite happy that hinkles coming yet surly since he's not playing for Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla or Athetico you dont know much about him.
yes hes in the sevilla squad, but he dosn't get a game.

you dont think i would? why? what are you basing this on?

Have him as a winger, naka's future is uncertain, expecially with reports coming in that his old club want him back and that he wants to BE back in japan. can we afford to let a player who'd fill that gap nicely slip past us for 3million?
or as i've said about 5 times in this thread already, have him in behind the strikers for champions league games. IDEAL. as i've said before we really need a player like that. Brown, while he drives forward dosn't hit enough shots imo. McFadden hits shots from outside the box. ideal for rebounds for skippy/jvoh to get in about.

I think right now he woudl be played wide. With just Aidan and Naka, adding Faddy hardly overloads us when we like two wide men. We have seen what happens when you have two wingers in your squad. We have spent most of the season with an inappropriate player on one wing. I think Faddy woudl be excellent in Naka's position. Did you not see some of his footwork and dribbling for Scotland over the last few years against far better teams than the SPL can offer. Very similar in style to Naka

Except I said Sevilla. Even though he never gets a game. :50: Now thats the opposite of what I meant. Ive seen McFadden in the EPL so I can judge.

So we would drop Brown or Hartley? Surely you would drop the 4.5 million rated Brown? Because how could we get by without a Hartley type guarding our defense? Or would we play a 4 5 1?

I dont know your background Iontach, but that comments pretty * niave.
Because Faddy is Scottish that he's probably under-evaluated, its something we as a race are pretty good at doing. Us Scots are probably more critical of our own players.
I also didnt like the rascist connitation of your last point......if he was English would we want him.....OF COURSE ! He's good enough to pull on the Hoops !
Creed, colour or religious background does not come into it, you are confusing our great club with another Glasgow club....

away in the champions league? yes. a 4-5-1.
    in the leauge, a winger.
hartley hasn't exactly got his starting place nailed down, incase you hadn't noticed.

i know you said seville, but you hav'nt seen much of hinkle, so how can you be so happy that he's coming, yet you've never seen him to make your mind up on him then say "we'll i'd not have seen enough of him to make a disission." about faddy had he been spanish

    makes no sence.

Thats not what I meant I just English. I could have easily said Irish or American or French. I just meant a foreign player.

Hes undervalued? Undervalued by the English but I dont see how he is by the Scots

Im a third party just looking on and thats my viewpoint on Mcfadden like it or not.

anyone who thinks he has nothign to offer has not seen his amazing ball skills for Scotland over the last few years. He has serious magical feet and flare. Its a sad day when a player like that cant be fitted in. We have fitted in odd but skilled players like Naka so why not him.

Give me one example of how you under evaluate?

Because I dont see it. Im a neutral party and I dont see much underevaluating scottish players at all.

How can you say " Well if he was in Spain I doubt I would have many opportunities to see him"
yet be over the moon about hinkle? a player who's not getting a game for seville so obviously you've not seen him either.
Your dodging questions and chatting crap. i seriously think your jelious. i have no idea why but you seem to have it in for him, for no other reason than he's scottish.

serously Iontach, you cant have seen much of him. When he is on song he looks in flashes like a world class player like Hagi or Stoichcov. He is not on that level but he has serious gallus ball skills and a lethal shot. I would not want to face him in a Rangers shirt. That would be devastating. He also knows SPL football and what it means to player in the hoops.

Exactly your not in this country you have no idea what's said about players and teams in this country. how can you possiably pass judgement when the only press you see is about celtic, and your always saying the press here underrate celtic, always writting them off. celtic are scottish. theres an example right there.
Scottish natinal team, Never is there a great deal of faith going in to back the squad. the spl, never a good thing said about the Quality of the spl in the press here.

How many more examples do you need?

I just dont like spending most of our transfer funds over a player that we just dont need.

And I think hes just being over-evaluated by some on here. So I guess im jealous that we are spending 3.5 million for a player we just dont need.

Creative on the ball and pace and a few wonder shots. We have all of this already in Brown and McGeady in the midfield. And like what was said above who will do the dirty work? And GS likes playing with a tall striker so we cant drop VoH.

If we get defenders first and still have that money remaining without straining our budget than okay. Fine.

Flashes? exactly. 3.5 million for flashes? When we have more pressing concerns?

I for one am assuming hinkle will be good as he has 17 caps for Germany, and was bought to replace the fantastic Alves.
As for Faddy decent player but not as good as Maloney who we let go over a few thousand pounds and probably less wages than faddy.
Some people reckon he will be bought as a striker, i don't see that either.

Thats because Celtic is undervalued in Scotland. Celtic is thought higher of outside Scotland than in. Which is in itself ludicrous. But are we talking about the media here or the opinions.

Than Talkceltic members must be the exception!

I've never seen Mcgeady hit a wondershot? brown plays in the middle. not the wing. so why browns being brought up i'll never know. "aye we've got a wee bit of pace in the middle, so lets just no have any on the wings" mcgeady plays on the opposite wing, should we only have flair, pace etc on one side of the pitch?

there you go again, raising it to 3.5 , all the press are saying is 3, you say 3.5. eh?

you still nevr answerd my question yet you quoted my post.

Iontach, its a Cultural thing. I dont expect you to understand.
