It's not only the impression of his fellow countrymen inspiring Yang to success. Instead, he is taking motivation from James Forrest's long association with Celtic.

He explained: “James is one of the club’s great players. He played with Ki and Cha Du-Ri some years ago here.

“When I look at James and how the fans support him, that gives me motivation to do well here.

James is an inspiration to me, absolutely, in terms of his relationship with the fans.

Obviously a great servant to the Club, but he has nothing in him anymore. Watching him an Bernabei combine down the left was coma inducing.

Not seen for 2+ year and now brought on, on the wrong side of the park to rescue us.

He was completely and utterly done 2 years ago when Ange first arrived.

The fact ge came on today when chasing a goal says it all.

I get that he won't see much ganetime with Palma coming in and Tilio back from injury, but he should be getting anymore unless we're comfortably winning, he's done as a player.

And imagine bringing Ysng off for him, some manager.

Shouldn't play again , unless injury crisis

If Vata was in amongst the squad instead he mightve stayed ,vatta should still have a better attitude

Love forrest, great servant but right now playing him is taking us backwards. Need to move on instead of playing him and him doing * all everytime

Another one who shouldn't be at the club.

Bringing on a finished Forrest to change the game is laughable, meanwhile Vata gets no minutes and is on the way to Italy where he'll play and probably flourish.

A good indication about where we are as a club though. Our attitude is prehistoric.

Maeda and Taylor shouldn't be near the park in a Rodgers team.

If he'd have ever seen them playing which I doubt or he's clueless he would have signed new guys to start before them, Ange's granny would know they'd be useless playing average football.

Wee man has done well for us over the years. Not his fault the manager sees him as someone who could dig us out a hole

No offence to him but why the * is he still in a matchday squad and being brought on to change a game in the year 2023.

I'd like to think Rodgers was doing it to prove a point but I genuinely think he still rates him.

Was just about to post the same thing.

Him and Ralston playing for us in 2023 is * grim and says a lot about the state of our squad.

As an unashamedly Ralston fanboy, that was one of the worst 30 minutes of football I’ve seen from a player from him today. He wasn’t even making strong tackles, which is the very least I expect from him.

James Forrest has done well for us on the whole, his stats are excellent, but he is done. Even at his peak his body-language was dire and he'd never go near a tackle that was 90-10 in his favour never mind a 50-50. From his few appearances this season even that little effort seems beyond him. Thanks for the memories Jamsie lad but he shouldn't be even on the bench for us anymore.
