  1. With the testimonial organised too. It’s almost certain.

  2. Great servant to the club but I think the time is now right for him to go

With 2yrs left on his deal, a deal that he probably won't be able to better elsewhere, I'd be surprised if he left now..

I guess he could move to the US, China or Saudia..

Can't really see where he would get much game time tbh.

  5. Always liked wee Jamesie. Think his choice is either to sit on his wages or move somewhere for way less money and get game time.

We might loan him out subsidising his wages as a good will gesture. Still a saving.

This, maybe sound him and Aberdeen out to see if they would suit each other.

  9. For him to still contribute high numbers even with all those niggling injuries shows he’s had a strong mental attitude through out it all

No chance.. he just hasn't got the pace to get back to that level. If we are moving forward Jamsie has no place at Celtic. Only thing keeping him here is sentiment.

Delighted for him, his testimonial is well deserved and he is a bona fide Celtic legend for me. Legends for me are people who devote their lives to the club and/or do something extraordinary. James certainly fits into the former at least.

Over 100 goal and 100 assists? Multiple trebles, invaluable CL qualifying goals that made us millions of pounds.

If his testimonial is his swan song he goes with his head held high. I wouldn’t be disappointed if he stayed on though.

Great servant to the club, might be time to move him on and give his squad place to a youth player

100%. No questions about his standing at Celtic and will go down as a legend on most people's lists. Time and age catches up to all of us and it has with him too. Unfortunately. At Celtic level anyway

He's still got a lot to offer another team outwith Celtic.

He needs to be playing regular at his age. Becomes much harder to hit the ground running after 6 weeks on the bench or getting 20 minutes here and there.

    Big decision for him.

  17. Jamesy to rise like phoenix from the flames once again under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.

  18. An unbelievable servant and bona fide legend.

I hope he leaves after his testimonial and continues to play and be successful at another club. Championship would suit him.

  19. Brendan has pretty much come out and said he’s keeping him

  20. Harry Potter wouldn't ve able to get him back to that level! When the legs go, the legs go, sadly as a winger you don't get the luxury of midfielders like pirlo/modric slowing down but having the football brain and technical ability to keep playing.
