James Forrest

Thought he still looked miles off it. Suppose it's a hard act to follow, with him replacing Abada, but he needs to start producing more.

 

No doubt Abada is well ahead of him right now on the right but we have plenty of football to play so great that we have Forrest to come on like he did today and play a role. I feel after so long out he is lacking some confidence. If he could get a goal in one of the upcoming games that might kick start things for him.

 

Hes carrying a bit too much weight imo and its slowing him down. No he's not fat, but he's certainly not lightweight anymore and its taken away his yard of pace he relied upon. Again I can only go by what we see on the TV but I bet if you compare his weight to his fastest time here, he will weigh more now.

Anyway he's a top notch sub to bring on. Abada is no1 though and it's not even close. You can't be producing those numbers and not be. Some boy.

 

Definitely not at his best and visibly a level below the others right now, but what an option still to have off the bench.

 

I'm still rooting for the guy that bet that he wouldn't play 20 games for the rest of the season. I appreciate thinking like that <3

Miles behind Abada and you'd have Maeda and Doak infront of him. I would..

 

Waste of a jersey

 

Injury has ruined him. Been out far too long and not a patch on the player he was. Be lucky to still be here for start of next season

 

Think his time as a first team regular is coming to an end tbh

Not sure when his contract is up but if he has a few years left he'll almost certainly be spending the vast bulk of his time on the bench with fleeting appearances here and there.

 

It already has, I think.

As long as Abada is fit, he’ll be starting over him. And quite rightly. Abada is going to score more in his first season for us than Forrest ever has in a single season.

 

Aye, he was rank. Back to cutting back every single time he recieves the ball.

 

Absolute pish an I'll be amazed if he's here next season.

 

Worst I've seen him play in a very long time, but I still have faith in him being an important player for us.

No conviction in anything he does..

Should be well out the picture..

 

He looks so slow now, I don't think Abada is lightning quick (At least in comparison to Juranovic/Jota) but Abada is still comfortably faster than Forrest.
