Would it not have been 3 years ago if it was happening then?

Made his debut 2009/2010 so would have been last year?

He made his debut at 19 - he’s due one just now.

I hope he eventually has one, even if he does it for charity or whatever. It would be good for him to be the centre of attention, for all the years he’s been here he’s been criminally undervalued.

Gary Hooper springs to mind immediately.

Career went down the pan after moving to try and get an England cap.

Yeah that was the first one I thought of. Great quote that from James. He could’ve easily got a move to the prem at more than one stage of his Celtic career when he was fit and firing.

I’m guessing Hooper, Wanyama and Ledley

James Forrest has given his Celtic jersey from Sunday’s League Cup semi-final win over St Johnstone at Hampden to Bertie Auld’s family.

The Celtic winger came on as a substitute and scored the only goal of the game to help the Hoops book their place in next month’s final against Hibernian.

And after a day of emotion at the National Stadium, with the Celtic players all wearing the No.10 on their shorts in memory of the Lisbon Lion following his sad passing, and the Celtic support paying their own tribute to a true legend of the Club, James Forrest wanted to make his own gesture to Bertie’s family.

James explained: “Bertie meant so much to the Club and our supporters, he was everything to his family and we know they are missing him so much.

“The boys were really honoured to wear Bertie's number on Sunday and we were delighted to get the result on a really emotional day.

“For me to get the goal was special but the whole team did brilliant to get the victory. We know what a tough time it’s been for the family and we just wanted them to have something from the match and from the day that we remembered one of our greatest ever legends.”

Wanyamas played in a team that reached the final of the CL so I don't think he's one.

Probably Forster, Hooper, Ledley, Matthews, Roberts maybe Kelvin Wilson, Benkovic or Sviatchenko and Johansen.

Forster I bet would rather be playing here and probably in hindsight never have left but he just can't give up £60k a week or whatever he'd lost by leaving Southampton which I think he is still guarenteed for another 19 month.

Could even be guys like Armstrong, McGeady and Maloney or guys like Stokes, Mulgrew, McManus, Sinclair and Griffiths who got too comfortable and let their standards and fitness slip and fell out the picture.

For a lot of players we were probably the highlight of their careers and once they've left they'd rather be playing here even if earning more money and still playing at other teams.

He’s also been one of the more vocal about how much he’s missed us

Great to see Jamesy returning to the first team again. Ange's formation should really suit him. He's gonna get a lot of 1v1's.

Clearly a smart lad who's understood that the grass aint always greener playing 46 grueling games in the English Championship each season unlike a lot of others.

He started his Celtic career in red hot form, like an old traditional winger, but fell out of favour with some fans with injuries' and being a little selfish at times.

But under Rodgers he was a star and he's now a cornerstone of the club and a dependable player in big matches.

Brings mors than Abada. Still getting up to speed it seems but when we have a fully firing Forrest along with Kyogo and Jota, there's going to be some exciting football.
