I expect he will have been working more on strength and conditioning in the last several years, over speed, to keep him injury free. When he was really quick he was also VERY injury prone.

I'm happy with the current slower version with more end product that isn't out crocked for long periods.

 

100% thought the guy saved that shot and it was bouncing out but somehow it went in the net!?!? * yasssss top was right off across the room scaring the dogs sprinting about like a maddy. What a player

He has been brilliant for a while now and is scoring important goals regularly, his composure in front of goal now is second to none ... can’t ask for much more than that.

 

His body changed at the end of the 2016/17 season I remember the 5-0 Killie cup game the Mrs was sitting there saying to me look at the change in his shape, thighs, shoulders, chest. He hasn’t looked back!

Forrest has become a 1st pick on the team sheet with his work ethic and final delivery one of the most consistent wingers in Britain certainly scored the most goals . I think he is a rock in our midfield links midfield and attack superbly and finishes off chances by himself!
The question is can we keep hold of him if a big bid comes in for him?

 

Totally agree and as all truly top players do when it matters most he produces on a consistent basis. The amount of goals he gets in the most important of games over the past few years and so far again this season is remarkable. At 28 he is entering his peak career years and he still has 3 years left on his contract so if he extends that or signs one more deal he will end up being a Celt for life and will at that point probably end up going down as an all time Celtic great. So far over 350 appearances for us and closing in on a century of goals. I think last night was number 77.

 

He is to us what Raheem sterling is to Man City. I can’t pay him a higher compliment.

 

@PaulM1888 it's one thing saying he wants to stay and another thing if a club comes in for him at least doubling his wages .
Poor media rumours linking him with Russian teams he's a celtic man through and through but he might do a mcgeady and chase the dollar!

 

I actually think that he is a true Celtic man and I don't think that he will ever move. He's not showy or outgoing in the way that some of the younger guys are. He seems settled in his own way. Now if the discussion was about Calmac I would say that he will go.......different characters. Jamesy seems to love it here and the older he gets the better he is. It's like he was a slow starter that always had something about him and we're seeing it now. The only way he's likely to go is if someone sours the milk and forces him out. I think he could be a one club man.
