At this rate we'll be able to sell him to Southampton for a few million in January

He wouldn't have been out on the left had we bought a * left winger.

That could be leveled at Ronny or Peter to be honest. If Ronny never seen Armstrong as a LW then it's the boards fault. If he did then well...

Some serious post mortem to be had.

No doubt we will just shut up shop and take the support for mugs as per..

How many crosses did he put in? Or was he always tackled or blocked?

He couldn't do much more though.

The whole "win as team" is all very well, but when one of that team seems to be quicker (in mind and body) than the rest then he can't really be held responsible can he?

I've seen this lad take * pelters when we drop a point and others get a pass, so he deserves some praise when he stands out amongst a mountain of dross.

Was brilliant tonight. Only hope of a goal was through him. Subbed. Speechless.

How many bodies were in there to meet the cross?

Or was he supposed to rebound it off a Malmo defender?

I'd never have taken Armstrong off at half time tbh, thought he was playing ok.

Armstrong is not a LW by any stretch of the imagination. That has been abundantly clear for a long time now.

We've both said that before but to be fair to him, he's really growing into that position.

I'd still rather see him through the middle though.

It's been a good month or so. Needs to keep working, keep getting better.

Still a lot more to come.

In saying that I don't think I'll ever fully take to him, his new wee thing of fixing his fringe whilst he picks himself back up and flails his arms riles me to * :56:

Definite improvement of late, although I thought he was poor tonight.

He's been our best player in the big games this season IMO and I'm very critical of him at the best of times, hope he comes good this season as Mackay-Steven has bee poor so far

The only thing that hampered him tonight was their right back was reallly quick.

Thought Forrest did well tonight, was direct and made their right back work hard, he actually played well himself. Very quick. Overall though pleased with James' display.
