    Exactly.

And even if it isn't quite working for GMS, he gets involved and helps the team. Forrest just hides.

I would give him til the next window and if he is not showing an improvement look to punt him then. Shame as he was exciting when he broke into the team but time is marching on.

Like McGregor, I get the sense that he peaked too soon. There are occasional flashes of what made him great, but he just genuinely seems unable/unwilling to put the effort in.

King Kenny and Henrik. Proud to have seen them both play.
Think initially he had A LOT more than McGregor, who I think is so average and found his level with Notts County.

The guy obviously has/had talent, otherwise he'd never have pulled on the Celtic jersey.

I reckon a big part of the problem with him is his attitude.

As much as he has been unlucky with injuries, I also think he bought into the vastly over the top praise that Neil Lennon gave him. Similar in a way to the way Tony Watt responded to his praise.

Rating him as world class and unplayable was wide of the mark imo.

The player we have today is huffy, childish, lazy, big headed looking, uninterested, and someone who looks to have given up on their career.

It's sad to see, because there is definitely a player in there. He just fails, and sometimes refuses to show it.

If we got any sort of offer for him, I'd jump at it.

He's had more chances from a section of the support than anyone I can remember.

He annoys me more than any other player in the current squad because of his attitude.

He needs to work on his finishing and passing and sometimes he doesn't really show up except for the odd pact sprint

I was someone who was a big fan of his for a while. I think he's a more intelligent player(on the ball) than many give him credit for and I also think that when he's on song, he's an absolute nightmare.

But even I, a fan of his, can see that his attitude hasn't been good enough, he goes missing too often and is inconsistent as *.

There is a player there, a good one at that, but he has to buck up his idea's quick or else he'll be quickly forgotten.

He could be useful in Europe coming off bench when other team tiring abit.
I hope he get more space to work his magic in Europe.
But he never be player off few years ago.
We should sold him for 7 million when he was on fire.

Given how the club supported him through his injuries, to see him go for free next summer would be a bit *. Maybe a January offer would be our best bet, unless he gets another year?

Where'd he go though? Bolton? This might sound silly but, Aberdeen??

He's a quality player when he's on his game, when he first came into the team it was fantastic to see him be so direct going at defenders and willing to take a shot at goal. He now seems to take the easy option of passing the ball back into midfield and like a few of our players constantly injured but hopefully Ronny can get the best out of him in the coming seasons.

I have a feeling he'll be a big player for us this season. Patience. I don't mean to criticise Lenny, there's a lot he did really well, some of it better than Ronny IMO; but dealing with players with attitude problems really wasn't one of his strengths to put it mildly. That's one of the areas where Ronny shines.

Last year was all about making him less injury prone by changing basic aspects of his posture and movement. So far it seems to have been successful. This year is all about developing his game and I'm quietly confident that Ronny can do it.

Wonder if Ronny would have been able to sort out Tony Watt's "flute".

Reminds me of samaras. Unstoppable on his day, but far far to inconsistant.

Don't really rate him as I have made clear in his thread.

I thought there was a player there at one point but he is 24 now and hasn't really improved. Whether that's down to injuries or not, it doesn't really matter.

He could still be a useful squad player but I'd not like him to start, ideally. We should be looking for better.

Fantastic when on form but sadly that's not often enough.

Doesn't use his pace enough when one-on-one with slower full backs and his delivery certainly could do with improvement.

His attitude has already been mentioned, although he won't get a regular starting spot under Ronny until he rectifies that as Deila obviously demands high workrate.
