  1. I knew he'd start as soon as BR meantioned he wasnt injured long enough to lose match fitness. He played better than Roberts tbf

  2. Tough game for the wee man

  3. Thought he played well but didnt see enough of the ball, passing out from the back was too slow.

  4. Not sure if anyone noticed, but there was a few times forrest brought the ball into the box and he was emulating a style similar to Paddy Roberts & sinclair. Slowing down, taken players on and fainting going left & right. Rather than his usual just try an run past a defender and punt in the box.

Ultimately it didn't really come off except for the assist to Armstrongs goal but i definitely see him trying to mix his game up.

  5. He's been doing that all season

  6. In a game severly lacking in quality he game up with two moments to get us the goals, panned his * in going back yet again (was a major difference down that side defensively when Roberts came on)

    MOTM for me.

Thought he was excellent today. Very positive and had Holt worried every time he faced him up.

Weird game. Thought he was pish up until the first goal which he did very well for. Then great work for the second.

How he went off and Sinclair stayed on is beyond me.

  9. Just before he done brilliant for the first, I thought get him off. He was outstanding and murdered them second half..

    Should've stayed on..

  10. Because he's just back from injury. Rodgers does that with everycunt thats just back, gives them about 60/70 minutes.

  11. Good performance again today. He's had a fine season.

Rodgers said only last week that Forrest went straight into the team v the huns because he wasn't out long enough to lose fitness. He got a good run out against them and a whole week of training since.

Don't think it's down to that. More that Rodgers wanted to keep Sinclair on.

Won the game for us with 2 key moments.

    Can't complain at that.

  14. 13 odd assists this season, fantastic return...

  15. And yet in both games he took him off around that time and has done so with every player that's been out with any sort of injuries. He handles Forrest especially carefully, given his injury record, as he does with Jozo.

We've seen quite often how devastating Sinclair can be, especially in the last 10-15 mins of games when teams start tiring. He's done that even when he's had poor games.

    Maybe that was Rodgers' thinking.

    Perhaps, not for me though.

That's true. But that thinking can be unfair in my opinion. Shouldn't take off someone who is playing better because the other person might come up with something even though he's been rotten for the previous 70 minutes.

I agree, and I was thinking I'd have taken Sinclair off for Roberts and moved Forrest to the left, but I can see why Rodgers would want Sinclair on the park as the game was getting stretched.

When he has space to run in behind, or can isolate a full-back, he's very, very effective.

  20. Bit of a game changer when Forrest came off today. The Dundee defenders were really struggling to cope with him. Roberts doesn't posses the same effective qualities.
