Not embarrassed to say I wanted him punted about 5 months ago.

A large majority of us did, let's be honest. His turnaround has been nothing short of remarkable though. Credit where credit is due.

    It is a great turnaround.

I've always rated him as good technically and a smart player, first touch, dribbling, passing has always been good and his ball retention, always been great in possession and clever with his link-up and passing and moving.

The difference this season has been his ability to run for 90 minutes, in the past he didn't have as good a stamina to run box to box throughout a game, that improvement has allowed him to be more dangerous goinng forward but also much better defensively, he's solid defensively now and someone we can rely on even in big Champions League games to do a job on the opposition.

I don't think anyone can say people were wrong to say they wanted him gone at times last season, as his attitude was an absolute disgrace. That is one thing that is very difficult to forgive in any Celtic player.

The turnaround since Rodgers arrived has been great to see, and yesterday's performance was well worthy of his MOTM award. We saw the very best of him in an attacking and defending sense.

I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if he had left last season, because the attitude shown whilst playing in a Celtic jersey will always annoy me, but equally, I'm glad he has shown this season exactly what he can do when he tries, and it is great to see a manager get the best out of him.

On that form he is undroppable.

People questioning his attitude last year..

What are they meaning? Were there direct quotes from him saying he wanted to leave?

Stalling on contract signings is not always "disrespectful".

It's more in the sense that he'd throw his arms up in the air if he lost the ball or felt he'd been fouled, rather than work hard to win the ball back. Now he puts in a * of a shift.

The club was drifting going nowhere last season. The fans were fed up and the players looked fed up. Can understand why Forrest maybe wanted away. Wasn't the story that after a few training sessions under Rodgers that he approached him during training and said he wanted to stay?

I'm not really sure tbh mate... I just hate when people take newspaper talk as truth and use it to bash our players.

Not saying that this is what everyone is/was talking about though.

Ability wise we know that Forrest has got it, pace, skill, and as he's already shown he knows how to finish, along comes a manager like Brendan who recognises his qualities, his job is to get the best out of him and manage him in a manner that will allow the player to express himself and flourish on the pitch.

Consistency is always key, but you could say that about the vast majority of players ?

Don't think I've ever seen such a turnaround from a player at Celtic. I wanted him punted off the Gibraltar rock in July and I wasn't alone in thinking that. Now look at him.

Just thinking there he's scored quite a lot of big goals for us, two in cup finals, a last minute winner to get us into the group stage and a pressure penalty against Ajax.

Pretty decent going for someone who doesn't or at least didn't used to get much goals.

He was OK, but the game shows that inverted wingers slow play, and when you're 2-0 down, that is not good. Must be played on the right.

His shooting and crossing at times are deplorable.

At 25 years old he should be a lot better with his end product, could hardly beat his man one on one today as well.

Need better on the wings next season if Paddy doesn't sign permanently.

You couldn't even praise him the other day after the cup final but are back in here having a go at him today.
