I wouldn't say he was "rotten"

You seem to have it in for him

You know, see when you blindly hate a player like that and can't wait to stick the boot in? You look like a petty * that knows nothing about football.

Was he cutting inside, outside, back the way, diagonally??? What was it today you would throw at him, seeing as you had no idea what he has been doing all season the other day?

He had a * first half and a good second half today, I wouldn't be overly concerned for Paddy to come in now and see what he can do, give Forrest a rest after his excellent start to the season.

He was by no means 'rotten'. What I would criticise is his lack of belief in his left foot - I honestly believe he doesn't think he'll score when he hits anything with his left. It's as if he is holding back.

Rotten!! Looks like he needs a wee rest to get some of that sharpness back.

the only rotten thing is the amount of so called fans giving him abuse on here regardless of how well he plays. Today wasn't his best game this season but he was very good today

He most certainly was not rotten.

He did little wrong he just didn't cause much damage.

Yep, has had a great season. Wee dip in form but nothing that a rest won't sort out.

Wingers typically find it difficult to be consistent over a season. Forrest has been good more times than not this season so I don't think his form is anything to be stressing about.

Particularly seeing as we have another quality winger in the squad waiting for his opportunity.

Don't think he was very good at all. He improved in the second half and did a lot of pressing and tracking back I'll grant him that. Maybe something to do with Armstrong coming on helped him, as Biton was hiding the whole game.

He's scored twice with his left this season.

Forrest wasn't a stand out today, but he gave us an outball, caused their defence a couple of problems and even managed to create a couple of chances for us. The most obvious chance he created was playing Armstrong through for a shot on goal late in the second half.

That was a great pass. There must have been 8 players between him and Armstrong and he still picked him out.

Not his best game this season, I even said I wouldn't be unhappy if he got hooked at HT, but not his worst either. Second half he was much better, defended well too.

I'm surprised he didn't come off for Roberts.

Am I correct in thinking we only used 2 subs?

Edit: I'm wrong, I remember Gamboa coming on too.

Aye it was interesting he was better in the second half than the first because I was expecting Paddy to come on second half. Brendan knows what makes him tick that's for sure. I thought he was alright, nothing special but he did get into a couple of dangerous positions.

I wonder when we'll see Paddy again? Part of me isn't worried because if Forrest is on form for the whole season then why play a loan player. But I think Roberts is great, can produce moments of magic that really make the game exciting.

Plus if we're going to get quality loan players in the future which is probably going to have to be part of our strategy then we're going to have to play them.

Bit of a paradox though because as I said if Jamesy has found his old form it would be a bit cruel to drop him, he might lose his confidence and he's definitely a confidence player.

    This.

Forgot Forrest was even playin in the first half. Is Rogers maybe leavin Paddy on the bench so we maybe get him for cheaper if we try to get him full time?

Wee paddy is far better and I hope we sign him full time.

Granted, but do you understand where I'm coming from?
