    I thought he was brilliant. Quiet period in the first half but overall he worked tirelessly and got us up the pitch time and time again.

    This is definitely the most consistent football he has played in his career.

    I was in a pub in Rome watching this with approx 20 other Celtic fans, and everyone to a man was glad he was replaced. Funny how some see things differently. It may be the drink that's clouded my judgements tonight.

    Glad he was replaced?! Serious? He was superb in my opinion. Made a lot of great runs and shot a few great balls into the box. Only thing he did differently than in recent games was not cut inside as often. Didn't think that hampered his performance in any way.

    I thought he played well, decent outlet in attack when he got the ball actually beat Clichy a few times, good run and cut back for the first goal.

    But mostly defensively he put in a great shift, constant running up and down and trying to stop them from playing it about. I actually thought during the game that Paddy Roberts would never have put in half the shift and that it was a great decision to play Forrest.

    Aye madness to think it, Roberts is a quality player and really should be in the team every week but Forrest is deservedly keeping him on the bench.

    Paddy will hit form at some point though he's too good not to but Forrest will be pushing him for the place back, good competition.
