I'm hoping it's a case of bad night at the office, but as above, let's hope the real James Forrest hasn't stood up.

Been really good so far though.

And in all honesty, 90% of that team were pathetic.

Looked like last season's James Forrest. You could see after 10 mins he was not up for it. Poor touch, not taking man on, walking about.

Hopefully just a wee blip, because he's been great so far this season.

He bottled it tonight. The supposed 2 fastest player's in our side down that right flank and they were useless..

Weighs about 3 stone - brushed off the ball far too easy - will cost us when we are up against it in Europe- just passable when we are winning in SPL

One of those players that you can tell within the first 10 mins whether he is up for it or not. Tonight he was pretty cowardice IMO.

I'll cut him some slack though as he has been in good form and the majority of the team were gash tonight tbh.

Exactly my worry. I've said before, he was written off not on a whim but over several seasons & managers & we should be very wary before we start relying on him so soon. Didn't show at all tonight when we really wanted him to & that was off the back of some super recent performances. Roberts should come in for him as soon as he's fit. Can't be trusted I'm afraid.

I've said it many times about the wee *. He has been with us for years now. No new manager etc is going to change his inate nature.

He'll score a good goal or two every season, but if you want an actual footballer with brains and heart, then you've come to the wrong place.

He probably uses most of his energy every game shrugging those enormous shooders.

No player played well tonight but if you looked at Sinclair on the opposite flank, he grafted all night, had some decent moments & was involved in any dangerous moments that we had. That's what we need from Forrest, might not be going his/our way in games but effort & a good attitude should always be the minimum. Said it before but he will have the odd good spell followed by the more common & extended 'can't be *, whatever' spell. Same as always, don't be duped. AGAIN.

The whole team was below par, it's unfair to single one person out.

I'm not. This is the James Forrest thread. Do you agree or disagree with tonight's comments?

True but although most were * I feel Forrests effort is questionable & it happens far too often with him.

I'm not singling out Forrest but I would disagree with that to an extent Sean. Tonight if we went out I would have been happy to put a large part of the blame on Janko, and then Rodgers for playing him.

We are always going to have * performances like tonight especially when we play away from home in Europe. When we play like that though we need to be able to cut out the basic errors and just see the game out. Janko gave away a penalty (wasn't a penalty in fairness but it was still a shocking challenge) and it was arguably his fault for the second goal. We just can't afford to give away those types of goals and if we went out tonight I would have put the blame mainly on Janko, no matter how * everyone else was.

We never had a grip of the game but at the same time they never really looked like scoring until Janko got involved.

That's a fair point mate, I can't believe Janko finished the game. He was beyond bad.

Thank * Roberts is back fit again.

Brendan knew exactly how bad Forrest was tonight which was why he was hooked at H/T.

I've no doubts Roberts will be back in again pretty soon.

Well, in regards to the likes of Forrest, Brown, Tierney then I agree. They were poor tonight. Well below par.

But as has been said, Janko I would single out. And Gordon.
