I honestly think the work being done by Brendan with Forrest is unbelievable!

To bring a player from the brink of exit and humiliation/embarrassment, to one of our most lethal players so far is extraordinary.

His confidence is through the roof, and his effort/application is so good, I would play him before Paddy Roberts (as things stand).

At this rate it's only a matter of time before Deila starts getting the blame for world hunger, WWII, the Black Death, etc.

Forrest lost his way long before Ronny and no one is to blame for that except James Forrest. He had 2 main problems: he was injury prone and his attitude was poor. Ronny deserves a lot of credit for the work he and his team did in successfully making Forrest less injury prone but failed to sort out his attitude. Rodgers deserves the credit for sorting that out.

And mentioning KT was pointless. It was Deila that gave Tierney a run of games to prove himself.

Depends what kind of game. If speed and workmate are more important (e.g. away in the Nou Camp), I'd definitely play Forrest. Playing against a packed defence sitting deep, I'd play Roberts all day. Most other games it's more difficult, but I'd probably just give Roberts the nod unless he was off form TBH.

Really thought he was finished here, epected him to sign for a Sheff Wed or something and never to be seen again, proving all his critics wrong,me included.

I'd tend to agree - especially when it came to Forrest, but the guy is playing out of his skin, and he is dangerous as * when on-form.....probably almost as dangerous as Roberts!

I think it would be a bad choice to drop him just now.

Said it before, when Forrest plays to his strengths I.e. using his Pace to beat men and getting crosses instead of cutting inside then passing the ball backwards he is a really useful player but like Scott Brown he has really upped his game in the past couple of matches

Played well today again...love the resurgence of this player as I thought he'd all but given up on reaching this level for us again

Again he is showing what he should have done years ago, he looks a different player under Rodgers! He is playing fantastic and he needs to stay in the side even if Roberts is fit wee james is playing out of his skin.

Roberts coming off the bench gives us something different.

Actually now he suits the invisible handbag, and the hair ain't so bad.

Amazing how little things can seem less annoying when a player is doing the biz on the park :icon_mrgreen:

Missed the game today. Just seen the highlights a few hours ago.

Belter of a goal... Left the boy wondering what day it was and tucked it in with the outside of the boot, class.

    Really impressive of late.

How was he apart from the goal?

The wee man is back to his best . Delighted he has hit form needs to keep it up . Just goes to show how poor a manager coach deilla was when you see first hand the turnaround players like forest and brown have had in only 2months .
