    Impressed again.

Stupid yellow tho for delayin the game by kickin the ball away after he saw broony doing something similar, was nearly sent off a few minutes later when he went in for a tackle. However its a small gripe, he played his part and we go with a 3 goal advantage.

Attitude is completely different. Which is why he's a wee * regardless.

He played well though, in both directions.

Brilliant ball for Griffiths, something you don't often say about him. Even his final ball seems to be improving.

    What a turnaround, so far.

Yes, we got lucky and got a referee with common sense tonight. The referee clearly goes to book him, I was watching the ref, thinking "uh oh, he's going to get a second yellow here" but then when he gets closer he realises Forrest is already on a yellow and let's it slide. Phew!

This is the thing that gets to me as well. Delighted that he seems to have turned a corner in terms of his attitude but you have to ask where that was under the previous manager. With every good game he plays it becomes obvious that the wee shitebag wasn't trying a leg for Deila. There's no way he's become twice the player after a month working with Rodgers.

Nah, for me Griffiths and Brown joint MOTM, with Forrest and Lustig joint second.

Good in flashes (no pun intended) but doesn't have great ability in my opinion. Cross for goal was good & great to see some improvements but still has rank rotten technique, questionable game intelligence etc etc anyway don't want to be too critical as that was as good as it gets with Forrest. When Roberts is back he's a certain starter but Forrest could be useful back-up, which is way more than I expected 2 months ago.

While he did not play terrible, I think this is the best he can give, fair play he has improved this season but you can just see something is lacking, that spark of quality, I think he can be a good impact player but soon as Roberts is fit he comes straight back into the team.

I've definitely had my doubts about Forrest over the last couple of seasons but can't deny that he played really well tonight.....great attempt at asserting himself in the team don't you think ?.....he seems to have added aggression to his game which is fantastic to see. Hail Hail to the wee man.

Most improved player, got stuck in a lot more which is what we have all been looking for from him. Hope it continues.

He has found some form but lost a lot of pace, if he was as quick as he was a few years back and on form he would be devastating. I think we will be a much improved team when Roberts returns, much improved - we will be dangerous on both flanks.

    James "Clean Slate" Forrest

Brilliant attitude shown against Happoel Be'er Sheva :50:

He looks like a new player and i think we should all give him the same opportunity that Brendan Rodgers has given him.. a clean slate and the opportunity to show the wworld what he can do.

Something has changed the atmosphere & dynamics within the dressing room and many players look far more ' Up For It ' in the last few games.

If Shooders were a new signing then we would all be commenting on how he could develop and grow with this team. I think in the last few games he has shown much more belief in his own ability to take the man on and get stuck in when not in possession.

Hope he has an injury free season and the fans get behind him :shamrock:

Agreed. Really drove at the team last night. And a player Brendan likes. Would be great with Forrest, mcgregor, Sinclair and Roberts in a team together. Would just be attack attack !!

He and Brown have both looked like different players.

I actually thought he was better than Sinclair last night, albeit they had different types of impact - Sinclair's diagonal runs create so much space for Griff and Tierney and that is a very important thing to contribute, but Forrest yesterday looked like a panther! He was direct, aggressive and looked dangerous whenever he had the ball. Reminds me of when he first cam onto the scene and would just bulldozer into people, cut to his left and drill a shot goal bound. Long may it continue. 3 wingers from Roberts, Sinclair and Forrest give us a lot of options.

    Keep it up lad.

Played well again last night, he's been like a new signing. May it long continue!
